On a 3700x / 5700 and I am seeing nearly the same % increases in the same games. Between 5-10 more FPS. As this feature was added to my GB B550i AX.

I actually turned on the option on my setup with a msi b550m pro Vdh wifi motherboard , r7 5800x and 1080ti. It actually reduced performance on my end , so I guess only GPUs with driver level support will see any kind of boost using this feature.

Hmmm remember... it's Watch Dogs/UBISOFT we talking about here.... don't ever expect the best-optimized games outta them. That's why probably no difference with SAM ON/OFF.

I've just bought a 6800 and saw this. Perfect timing! I have a 3600 and an x570 so this could be interesting with a bit of a cpu bottleneck. Thanks for the video!

I was really hoping the bios support would trickle a little further down the generations. I’m sure my 4790k would likely benefit more from resizable bar than more modern CPU’s. I’ve read it is a pci 3.0 feature and thus should be possible all the way back to the first cpu/motherboards with 3.0 slots.

NVIDIA gets this at end of February. My Gigabyte b450 board got the feature (all of them did I believe), and the drivers have support too. We are just waiting on vbios updates. Need NVIDIA 3000 or greater. Feature is just called resizable bar.

I'm not sure if it's the BIOS update or something else but after updating and enabling Resizable BAR on an 2600X with RX580 I'm on the same FPS but the game runs more smooth! I used to have terrible stuttering on fast movement and it's almost gone!

I have a 5700xt and a 3600xt and with GPUz latest version it says bar is enable. I did download the bios that enables it. For me the stutters stops and in some games there was a 20-30fps gain. In others the stutters stops or are random

No. Nvidia gets it and end of February. They are just calling it by its real name, resizable bar. Only works on Nvidia 3000.

Hey, So i recently stumbled upon this, I have the AMD Radeon RX6800, with the ryzen 9 3900 XT, and asus tuff gaming x570 plus wifi motherboard. I updated the BIOS and enabled the Resize bar feature, I read online that it works with the 500 series. If you are saying this works with the 3000 series then that is great news! how do I actually tell that it is working/showing me results. I am new to benchmarking, Let me know, Thanks

When I enable it in the x570 taichi BIOS my machine can't see my NVME HD's anymore. Not sure what I'm missing. Like, WTH man.

Have you tried turning on Legacy mode in the bios?

Maybe I'm late but better than never. You should update your bios and the option should appear. I use asrock b550m pro4 motherboard and the option had not been available until I updated my bios to the latest update. The second most recent should also work but I am not sure.
