Depends. Good motherboard shouldn't really affect performance much, but some board do have "terrible" vrm that basically limits the power to the cpu. So reduced performance in some cases.

I have this 4600g processor with 16gb dual channel 3200mhz ram. With a520 mobo. Now i want to purchase a good gpu not mainly for gaming but for learning 3d, video editing etc. RX6600 is value for money currently but i've heard that amd gpu's are very buggy and only good for gaming and suck in productivity many softwares lack support. Its nvidia equalent rtx3060 is 7k expensive so should i buy cheaper gtx 1650 instead ?
