Got my head nodding over here. The dope is thinking about this style of production is that you can open up so many different layers of frequencies. And then you realize that you don't need a large amount of elements. It's largely about the presence that you give the ones to orchestrate.

Most classic 90's hiphop did this. They didnt really do alot of wild shit when bass lines were concerned but often just followed the kick or matched the melody often 1:1.
