Very much looking forward to the surprise Santa S.A.W. Has for us. Very much hoping it will be a full version of this show! Tangerine Dream played only two live shows in the USA with Johannes, one in Santa Monica and one in San Francisco. I was fortunate to have been able to attend the San Francisco show. Johannes was terrific! Sure wish they would have come back before he left the band. It was definitely my favorite incarnation of TD and I think S.A.W. really does justice to the music and its new work is defiantly in the spirit of that band without trying to be an imitation.

In my opinion the best piece of music Tangerine Dream have ever written! It was my first Tangerine Dream record in 1980, and then I was hooked.

Wow, a lot of nostalgic vibe to that last movement in this version. Maybe it was just the photography. But they omitted the best part: after the Footsteps in Hall movement (which always struck me as a punch-in,) there's the Flying movement. Much as I like this, it feels incomplete. The other movements were so well recomposed, I was really eager to hear what they did with the Flying part. Ah, well. Perhaps next time.

Fantastic. Loved the visuals as well. Thank you for sharing. Quick question if I may, What program does Johannes run on his iPad connected to the keyboard?

It is beautiful! But I find it sad that Johannes seems to not be a fluent with his hands on piano as he once used to be....but age catches up with us all and arthritis comes with it!

Tangram war eines meiner Lieblingsalben von TD.Nach dem Ausscheiden Christopher Franke wars dann leider.Ich war damals sehr geschockt von der weiteren Musik.

I don't think it needed all the percussion, which was a bit plodding and overbearing. I think that sort of ruined this remake. Sorry.
