I wish I could dream with your musical sound in my ears. That way could help me improve my pronunciation and intonation quickly. The melody in "Thursday could work" is not easy to imitate. I am sure to join your next course in May 2021.

Great video as always. I know that English is not a phonetic language, but it would be a lot easier if the words you mentioned that really need to be pronounced with a "z" were spelt with a "z" instead. Imagine the word busy spelt in the dictionary as "buzy". Going even further an replacing the "y" with the "ee" and the "u" with "ih" sound so it becomes "bizee". It looks so weird seeing it spelt like that. I wonder if we ever get used to if all the words in the dictionary were suddenly replaced with the way it was meant to be spelt.

Can we pronounce "basic" with "z" sound ? I am confused Because the rule says if the s comes after a vowel it is pronounced as /z/ so why I hear "basic" with /s/ sound all the time?
