Sorry for the wind noise i realized it as i was editing this video.. Once i put the intake on i definitely feel a better power response with not as much turbo lag!! as for fuel mileage i didnt really see a noticeable difference possibly get a half mile per gallon better but that is it

Still no issues other than once in a blue moon i get the no start usually like every 4 5k miles got just shy of 60k on it now still tow almost everyweekend runs great!!

That it is!! But it's one of things that is not a must have but is kinda nice you get alittle more turbo noise and alittle better throttle response time with less turbo lag other than that not to much different

I installed the same one on my 2021 Silverado with the Duramax. It really makes the turbo come alive if you go to the turbo. More responsive as well

Have you had or have any engine knocking? I have a 2022 trail boss with 300 miles and it knocks at speeds 0-35 mph. I use Shell diesel only.

For some reason the 3.0 kinda has a knocking noise i have 41k on mine abs runs strong but sounds like its knockibg also sense day 1

Bought the x31 version 3.0 and it came with a bigger air filter box from the factory.

Thanks for Posting a Video. It gave me incentive to finally install mine. I got it done Saturday (11/27). I Love it so far. Have you had any issues with your truck since you put it in? There’s a Ton of Great Reviews, but there are some naysayers out there claiming it will ruin the engine and void the warranty. I haven’t read that anywhere claiming that though. Great videos. Thanks

I was told by the dealership if you get them to install it, it will not void the warranty

My truck is at the dealership at this moment. I managed to purchase a cold air intake out of California. My engine light turned on a few weeks after. Turned out it was my injection pump and injection rails. And everything is covered by the warranty. Nothing was mentioned about my intake. I’m in California by the way.

i have not had any issues at all sense installing it ive got about 12k miles on it with it on all great miles!!

You have to maintain that filter or the dust can wreck the motor I'm staying with paper stalk filters my self.

CAI's are the biggest waste of money on modern PCU controlled cars/trucks. Unless you're gaining 10% more HP you're not going to feel it...and you're NOT going to gain that. If any. They look cool if you drive with no hood I guess though. But wait until you go to try and trade it in with that thing on...better keep the OEM! I have an AT4 with the 3.0 and there's no need for anything but what it comes with from the factory. Todays engines are already pretty much pushed to their limits to meet standards. Not like the days of a small block where you could double the HP for a few hundred dollars.

Agree the CAI aren't worth the money, but you're wrong about the trade in part. Literally just traded in my 2015 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3L V8, had a K&N intake and Flowmaster exhaust, and the dealership didn't say a word. Had 93k miles and still got $23,000 for it.

@@KotaBearTV sounds better. Hard to find stuff for these. Nerf bars are on back order and there is only one leveling kit on the market i can find. Its over 2 grand. Im guessing motor weight is the big factor. Keep the vids up. Im sure they will blow up

Yeah its tuff to find anything anymore these days and yeah leveling kits or lift kits are getting out of hand for sure with price but not sure if motor weight has anything to do with it...and thanks for the support man hopefully it blows up lol
