Though your point is valid, you really have to see the idea behind these combo clips. What Desk and other decent combo makers do is just show you what's possible. Bringing an old fighting mechanic into a newer game is just pure brilliance.

I will say this desk is one of the most innovative thinkers and players I've ever seen plus his exucution is super human and from his music stuff, him playing a 6 string bass, I say he has a healthy balanced life style, he is someone as a gamer myself that I can look up to. In many cases where a multi-hitting move has armor break properties only the first hit actually breaks armor, and the rest can be absorbed. Having played Gouken since vanilla learning these is very useful for inserting counters where people think they are safe.

My only critique is that I wish you'd have let the ultras finish animation with no life regen on so we can see how much gray life is recovered before gameplay begins again. If it's fully recovered, I can see this being really useful.

It's clearly in a match though. Since Makoto doesn't have to input anything after her ultra, he would have just done it by himself with two sticks. It's actually really simple compared to some other things he's done where he actually playing one-handed on two sticks at once.

That is true. Her ult does have some start up time, so it would be rather easy to switch between sticks. And its not like Desk cant use 2 sticks at once. =P

I didn't even realise you could absorb most of those hits from the Supers, especially Honda's and Viper's! That's actually really useful information if your opponent messes up their cancel/link into super. Hey Desk, do you think you can do similar things utilising characters EX Specials with armour (namely Fuerte's and Guy's EX Run)? I noticed you were forced the block in the middle of Cody's Super. Of course, I suppose the idea behind the vid is to only use FADC!

I think some of the tech here can be really useful. Just need a max damage combo to ultra or a just a fa to ultra as shown. The down side is it is very risky, but fusk it's so flashy.
