Be careful with Danish oil. Rags used for oilling should be laid out flat to dry; otherwise they may catch fire due to spontaneous combution.

Wearing glasses has learned me that too much cleaning of lenses always destroys the coating rendering it pretty useluss seems very dirty then. And always use a cloth made for lenses and nothing else. Good vid thanks giving my free advice here edit: i get mine for free by just asking in the shop where i buy glasses just ask for one

I have shot and still shoot in all weather from foggy morning to drizzle in the evening and have never had an issue with my guns because i always clean then before and after 😅 i even do it randomly at the weekends just to get them all out and have a play before putting them away. It honestly upsets me seeing mistreated of guns obviously i don't say anything but i get a bit twitchy like i need to go rescue the gun and give it a good clean before the rust gets worse. My dad always made me clean my gun as a kid even fingerprints were not allowed ha stuck with me all these years.
