Hi Gary what height mounts are you using and why did you choose to remove the pic rail and go for the dovetail mounting of your scope?
@ShootingCountryTV6 сағат бұрын
Hi Sid, they are the Sportsmatch medium. For HFT, I wanted to get the scope as close to the barrel as possible.

I'm a fit 75,nonetheless,I would hate rolling around a muddy field.I'm a springer man,a proud owner of an HW97KT. I use a Primos Gen 3, shooting stick,it's a bit on the pricey side £155 but worth every penny.I tried a £50 Chinese copy of the Primos. It aint a Primos,leave it at that. A shooting stick makes shooting stable,comfortable and more accurate.I wouldn't be without mine. Always enjoy your video's,thank's.

A brita filter or similar does NOT remove all limescale and minerals ib tap water. It will still fur up. You need to use deionised water. Also ice blocks (not ice cubes) to cool as ice melts releasing limescale and minerals back into your pumped water

Hi Gary How does the Vortex perform at the 8 and 10 yards shots? How bad is the blur? Thanks MIke
@ShootingCountryTV4 күн бұрын
Hi Mike, I can see the 8 yard target, but the kill is blurry, but I can use this blur to tell the difference between 8 and 10 yards.

Hi Mark, if you have the opportunity and mood, show us what hunting knives you use, show us and don't tell us, we don't know English.🤔🇺🇦

Tilly's Gunstocks has switched from using lead in a baking tray to plumber's putty in the same setup. He made a really nice functional target holder. He found that same hole groups just pile up the lead, so that works as well. I think the trick is buy the 3kg trade packs and make it about an inch thick in the tray. I'm hoping this works with slightly higher power PCPs because I'll be picking mine up this week.

Great video, just came across your page . Can I ask what you used to film at night like that?
@260rips7 күн бұрын
This is using a panasonic 4k camcorder with infra red capability and a cheap camera infra red light for the general filming, there’s also some thermal scope footage and thermal footage through the habrok thermal binos 👍

I always wear black gloves and a face cover of some sort to hide the light colour of my skin. Foxes eyesight is very sensitive to shades of white I think and have great black and white vision. Nothing wrong with product placement. At least we get someone with good experience to test gear.

Slightly off topic and not sure if mark actually sees these comments but maybe S&C tv can answer... What trousers does mark wear over his wellies, is it a bib and brace? I've got a few pairs of shooting trousers and none will go over the wellies..

I personally look out for Gary’s videos, it feels real when watching these and not a well polished promo video. Plus he doesn’t take it too seriously, yet has all the information we want. I hope to meet him one day, as a new guy to air gunning, it’s Gary that got me hooked.
