My people are on Edisto. They came to Michigan in the 50s to have access to medicine. They grew red rice, our cultural dish and watermelons. My Nanny's(great Grandmother) home is in danger of being taken from our family. They want to build resorts in the area.

Such a beautiful & historic region of the country. Was there doing archeology at Frogmore in the late 90's. The country there just reeks of history and that should never change. I enjoyed my time on the island and wish God's blessings on those living there.

Clear and strong truth in this video. This bit of the world is connected to all other bits, and affects all people, all critters, all plants. The era of extreme wealth needs to fold, now.

It's so hurtful that I can't even watch this...my heart hurts so bad...the trees are being cut back, giving way to the tides... They are destroying the Low Country, and there's nothing we can do you stop it.
