At the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail massif, dominating the Rhône valley in a landscape of vineyards, Séguret is dominated by the tower of its old medieval castle. During the signposted visit in the village, we discover the Porte Reynier, a vestige of the fortifications, the fountain of the Mascarons, the washhouse and the belfry as well as the Romanesque church of Saint-Denis
Séguret is located in the Haut Vaucluse to the north of the Dentelles de Montmirail and to the west of Mont Ventoux. The village is built at the foot of a hill surmounted by its ruined feudal castle.
Séguret is fortunate to be part of the association of "the most beautiful villages in France" and to well deserve this distinction.
As soon as you arrive, you will be charmed by this village with its typical Provençal atmosphere and medieval character.
You will literally find yourself in a nativity scene naturally formed by the houses of the village.
Picturesque site, classified and full of charm... Séguret attracts and retains artists and visitors from all over the world, here everything is beautiful, everything is well maintained, everything has been tastefully restored... the only downside (but ransom of success), it is the crowd of visitors in season
Séguret is not only a beautiful village, it is also land and people who produce an excellent wine with the Côtes du Rhône Séguret appellation contrôlée.They are successfully continuing a centuries-old winemaking tradition.
