Mafex looks better. Figuarts to me looks kinda skinny, Mafex looks more muscular which is more accurate to Henry Cavill’s Superman Btw love the sketch at the beginning of the video lol

I like cloths capes way better then he's stupid plastic ones they'll look good on them and once I open my Superman I am going to remove the wire there's no sense of having a wire in a cape

Disappointing effort by SHFA on this one (as had plenty of time to improve on the Mafex version & failed) with that neck peg which is way too long. You'd think SHFA could not have somehow missed that considering the too short peg on SHFA Batfleck Batman abs section (which was a big mistake). Also looks a bit too soft in terms of bulk for a Superman & the cape is too long IMO. If I was ordering one, I'd still get the Mafex. The skin tone & suit color is better on the SHFA but unfortunately that's about it. Thanks for the review.

To this day, I still prefer my Man of Steel movie master simply because he has the proper “Superman” build that he is supposed to have. Both Mafex and SH are dropping the ball hard on Superman. What’s going on with Figuarts DC figures lately? Mafex is killing them! Both JL Bats & Sup is so much better than Figuarts. Mafex Batman 3.0 from The Dark Knight is miles ahead of the Figuarts(it is a decent figure though).

Mizthegr8 I wouldn’t say “so much better” Both have been leaving a lot to be desired with their Superman figs. Mafex’s is slightly better but not good enough to warrant that expensive ass purchase. If they wanna hike their prices up significantly I want to see a significant hike in quality and I’m only seeing a small one

Victor Oliveira Slightly better. Both companies suck at Superman imo Batman - Mafex was good enough to buy but not anything special Wonder Woman: - The SHF figure is pretty damn good. Looks better than promos for Mafex WW Flash: -Both Mafex and SH did a good job imo Superman: Can’t purchase either. Extremely frustrating that there isn’t a single Henry Cavill Superman figure that’s any good in the 6” scale yet

Victor Oliveira Yes, he looks really weird in the SHf one but I wouldn’t call the Mafex one good either. Superman from JL is the only character from JL that I haven’t been happy with either Mafex or SHF. I refuse to buy either of their Superman figures they’re both ugly as hell I’ll wait for the inevitable 3.0 from Mafex when they finally kinda sorta get things right (sigh)
