I think this figure will be a tough one to use for stop motion because if you wanted his spines to light up, you will have to press the button in stop motion. But it looks really great.

The Selchies. Hello, unfortunately not in this scale of figure. There is the option of the SHM Godzilla Rebirth which in my opinion is a nice second option if you choose to skip out on this new one. Take care.

Damn it with the articulation is basically the 94 figure all grown up. Great review by the way. But damn it the reason i buy this is for the silly poses i like to do with them.

I just got the figure yesterday, but I opened at midnight because today is my birthday! (no joke, seriously). I loved it, but I need to say the sound features are quite odd to play... but I got if I press the plate tilting it to Godzilla's right side, it will play only the tunes; but if I press it tilting to the left side it will play the sfx. Also I found it can light up both the dorsal plates and the mouth with the atomic ray sfx at same time, but how the feature is triggered I dunno, because most of the time does what you show in the vid. The interesting point is it can even play the music and the sounds at same time, and doing so you can get the sfx for some footsteps followed by a roar; but if you try to get the atomic ray attack while the music is playing, the figure will only light up without sound.
