Can’t really get mad personally about the articulation because I mean even in the movie how much did he move, he pretty much just flew, walked forward and moved his arms exactly how the figure did so it’s pretty good with articulation imo it’s not like MG-74 or Kiryu who had tones of movement

i just now got mine and the barbell joint connecting rodan's thigh to his torso was broken straight out of the box, i wish i was kidding lol

I know beams are often a one-and-done deal when it comes to MonsterArts, but it REALLY sucks that we still haven't seen a re-release of the blue Atomic Breath, Megabuster, Garuda beams, or Spiral Heat Ray. If they'd added the latter three to this release, I think the price would've been a lot more justified, especially since MonsterArts is getting competition now in the form of Hiya.

@@Super_Mariozilla Seems they won't with the new Moguera figure although it comes with most of the old accessories, EXCEPT FOR THE DAMN BEAM, AND THAT BEAM WAS BEAUTIFUL! At least it comes with the docking bay thing that's perfect for it, and other mecha kaiju's

Yep, while I still find the $230 price pretty ok for the figure, Garuda, and Rodan, plus the amount of accessories, WOULD IT HAVE KILLED THEM TO GIVE A BEAM!!!

If each figure had a price (including garuda) each figure would cost $78.33 from the math (I did 235 divided by 3)

This set was worth it. I didn’t have mechagodzilla but I had the original fire Rodan I got back in December for $120. But I didn’t mind having 2 birbs. Mechagodzilla was worth it and I’m happy I finally have hik

Update: Ordered! Eknight to the rescue! $183 for the full set brand new, free shipping! Also after thinking on it, I think the shock anchors are longer because they’re based on the second time they’re used in the movie, for the G-Crusher attack. In that scene, the cables launch and anchor themselves into Godzilla’s back. But he turns around to face Mechagodzilla after this, tangling the cords around himself in the process. After this, Super Mechagodzilla attacks mid-air while discharging electricity from the cables. So TL;DR, they’re based on the scene from the movie where Godzilla gets the cables wrapped around him.

I remember talking to my friend how we need a reissue on Rodan, and then of course they had to shoehorn Mecha Godzilla in there, the sad part is that I would of got the Rodan, not saying the mecha Godzilla is bad, because I like the mecha Godzilla, but I was hoping to have the Rodan.

We need to accept that monsterarts will never do beam effects ever again considering they are charging us over 100 for specific figures and while I don't have the SHMA Garuda I do have the original Heisei Mechagodzilla with his beam and Fire Rodan with the effects . Though I will say with Hiya I'm curious how they will do Mechagodzilla ? Technically we have to say 4 if you consider they re released it without the beam once before similar to the SHMA 1994 Godzilla.
