I think it was an oversight as you pronounced it correctly the first time you said it, but on the screen at 0:51 you pronounced Gaidhlig the way you say Gaeilge (ie Irish Gaelic). Just a heads up!

Yea, I know it slips out like that sometimes. But like my Gaidhlig teacher once said natural speakers make mistakes every time they speak, they have lisps, slur, stutter, use wrong tenses, and other mistakes. Mistakes are part of natural speech, and after all isn't that what we are striving for, to speak Gaidhlig naturally. If we strive for perfection we will never achieve our goal...

That's ridiculous.. In English Irish 'Gaelic' and Scottish 'Gaelic' have the same pronunciation. When we speak (Scottish) Gaelic it's pronounced like 'Gallic', but not when we speak English

@@Rooxie973 No need to be rude? Also, I'm not sure where you are based but it's not the case in Scotland! We very much differentiate the pronunciation when speaking english here

@@fionac.158 When we speak English we don't say Espanol or Francais. We say Spanish and French. In the same way as when we say Scottish Gaelic or Irish Gaelic. We don't say Gàidhlig when speaking English. That's called code switching. My rude comment was a response to your unnecessary correction. There were no mistakes to correct. Good on this fella for putting out the video and doing a great job 👍

@@Rooxie973 Okay, well - you're entitled to your opinion as I am to politely suggest an error, and I'd always welcome discussion; your rudeness was unnecessary even if you didn't agree with me. I am telling you what we (including first language gaelic speakers) do in Scotland, home of scots gaelic, to differentiate orally between two separate languages that co-exist closely. If you don't do that in your country that's fine! But it is something that happens for a reason and does take place, even if you think it's 'ridiculous'.
