Also, BOA is lowering interest rates because they can see slowdown coming in future with upcoming administration. All of 25 will be bad economically not just first 6 months. 2025 will be bad for: housing, immigration, jobs, unemployment, grocery prices, utilities prices, inflation and purchasing power. You can study macro economics all you want. If the micro economics doesn’t make sense, it won’t prosper the country. Economists said the GDP is growing and we are doing good, but that was because of more people in the country not because people are spending and doing good. Connect CRA with canadian banks to save canadians from economic disaster. This is a MUST. The country cannot GROW with finanancial banking fraud. Financial regulators need to take action to eliminate fraud and housing crisis will balance itself once CRA is connected with banks

CRA is already connected enough with Banks. All registered or non registered accounts are connected with CRA. In need CRA can access all the information. But head count is already big enough in CRA to sustain unless people are willing to pay more taxes.

@ Absolutely, but Canadian governments have protectionist policies when it comes to banks,telecommunications, dairy and o&g industries. Their policies will always align in favour of the mentioned sectors but the common people. Governments will sell out its people to protect their petty interests just like they sold out our lumber industry in early 90s with NAFTA.

People lose more money when jumping in and out of the market than compared to staying invested . If the market corrects (I don’t have a crystal ball 🔮 if it will or not) buy more , buy the dip . All these political shenanigans /geopolitical events are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Canada is supposedly in recession right now and screwed up politically but TSX still gained roughly 20%. Way better than its g7 counterparts except the US.
