How can real-estate value in Ethiopia be equal if not more than the real estate values in America? These houses are built with cheaper material and poor finishing. The diaspora is not swimming in a pool of money. I honestly do not understand how houses can be this expensive in one of the poorest countries? Even in other African countries houses don't cost this much. How can university graduates in Ethiopia afford to buy a house?

Now this is a rant I have been waiting to read. Ordinary professionals in ANY country...cannot afford these real estate prices. I wonder what's the point. High end houses that targeting working professionals should be between 8- 12 million. And this should be high quality finishing. These guys want people fork out a quarter million USD in Ethiopia?!?! Who paying these prices? Next time I am in Ethiopia imma start my own youtube interviewing people living in these houses and ask them how many ribs they had to donate to afford their house. This is so ridiculous it is comical.

What a good opportunity it is to expose the poor quality of houses and apartments sold and now are announced to be sold. Potential buyers should be careful not to be deceived by what is being said by the real estate. Please come and listen to complaints by the house and apartment owners already residing. The internal roads have become out of use after 8 months of construction. The sewerage system was and is poorly designed and constructed. Residents are suffering from the bad smell coming out of the sceptic tank. More troubling is the sewerage system built for the houses being advertised. Residents are planning to go out and complain about the poor workmanship of the houses and apartments. Sunshine Construction cares only about getting the houses out of its hands. It’s the worst and most irresponsible real estate in the country. It’s most advisable to come to the premise and learn about everything before commuting to buy.

The houses are very poorly designed and made of poor quality of construction materials. Preparations are under way to hold the real estate responsible for the poorly designed and constructed water lines, electric distribution and sewerage systems. Residents will be ready to tell potential buyers interested to know the facts on the ground. If it were not for the help of Azeb Mesfen and other collaborators, the real estate would gone out of business long a go.
