Yesterday I cleared Kimika's Route and I was really satisfied seeing how it ended, on that same day I decided to start Zakuro's True Route and I basically got to the absolute pinnacle for her suffering, it was so hard to watch through it, I decided not to skip any of it and it genuinely hit me like a fucking truck, I was speechless and I had to take a break midway through the chapter. So today I decided to end off the chapter, and I have probably never felt such mental anguish for a character. At the same time I've never had such a massive amount of hatred for two fictional characters, the characters in question being Megu and Satoko. There was a genuine heartfelt power to Zakuro's feelings of hatred towards these two, they ripped into her like a toy and didn't leave any mercy for her, and the Black Cat that is supposed to embody them metaphorically really hits the mark. It is honestly weird for me to think about how calming this song was after Zakuro's Suicide. She was finally able to end her own suffering and I didn't know how to feel about that, I was unable to express my feelings in quite the right way. I felt depressed for her, but equally I felt happy because she didn't have to continue on with all of the bad things happening around her. This Visual Novel is just such a fucking trainwreck of emotions man. Im excited to see how the last 3 chapters will go after seeing how this went geez.

Apart from the last 3 chapters that you refer. There is an epilogue which isn’t translate it officially so maybe another way understand the whole plot

I think part of the brilliance of the storytelling is that you start the story knowing Zakuro died, but without knowing her you don't feel much. Through the cycles of stories you gradually get to know her more and you don't want her to suffer such fate, yet then you realise the story technically has already happened, so she is beyond our save no matter what, we can only witness how she goes down that path.

Definitely, I was debating in my head if they were actually going to kill her, because at the beginning of chapter 3 I wasn't entirely sure if SubaHibi played in timelines or if its actually all in the very same story, as some of the details still felt bleak in chapter 3. But man I was surprised how much they had to convey in those very few days before Zakuro's death, I thought that time constraints could be a problem, but they weren't in the slightest. The further I got into the chapter the more I realized, she is fated to die, and there's nothing I can do about it. It builds suspense and the entire rollercoaster that is that journey was absolute insanity, all the way from Kimika's Arc and to the fated death of Zakuro in her own ending. It was brilliantly built up and executed in such a perfect way.

Such a sad ending for Zakuro... A great song to finish off her struggle with everything.

God when this song came after that ending I was so dead inside, all the suffering Zakuro went through was so much for me that I didn't even have a way to express my feelings, her chapter left me speechless and depressed for her. Man I love this VN so much.

HUGE SPOILERS Same, this VN hit me hard and even years later sometimes I think of this. I never felt so much rage against fictional characters as I felt against those bitches Satoko and Megu. It's because of this, that Kimika is my favourite character, she is the one who made Zakuro justice, manipulating and leading those two whores to their deaths, and the fact they were raped by all Takuji's cult (more than 100 people) makes their death sweeter. Sometimes I pretend that this ending don't exist and the real one is the other where Zakuro and Kimika survive and are happy.

I've known this song for a little over 2 years now, I think -- I finished SubaHibi in the spring of 2021 -- and out of everything the game presented to me, this song has been the thing I remember the most vividly. I connected with Zakuro so much: the complacency and submission to your situation turning into almost bitter cynicism once your ability to take it quietly and peacefully had been worn down was almost too familiar. So the image of her never recovering, but instead falling further into her suicidality hit me at my very core. Especially with how her last connections could have been helpful but instead pushed her even further toward the edge. Seeing her jump off the roof, and then hearing this play afterward hurt so bad even if I didn't have the translation for it. I could just tell this was her swan song. This song was the culmination of all of that suffering and misery. It's become kind of a comfort song for me because of that. Nothing else has ever really done this for me. I can't tell anyone about it, but it'll forever be the song closest to my heart. Thank you for giving me this song, Subahibi.

Def the best subahibi ed, and the one that hits the hardest
I must have listened to it hundreds of times and I never get tired of listening to it. It is so tender and melancholic at the same time. Hana's voice is my favorite.

Awesome song, really emotional, japanese rock hits different.
