എന്റെ ഇളയമ്മയെ ഈയിടെ സ്ട്രോക്ക് വന്നതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ബേബി മെമ്മോറിയൽ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ അഡ്മിറ്റ്‌ ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. അവിടെ സ്ട്രോക്കിനുള്ള ചികിത്സ നൽകിയത് താങ്കളായിരുന്നു. താങ്കളുടെ രോഗികളോടുള്ള സമീപനവും ചികിത്സാരീതിയും വളരെ നല്ലതായിരുന്നു. താങ്കൾക്ക് ഒരായിരം നന്ദി. പക്ഷെ, അവിടത്തെ ഒരു കാർഡിയോളജിസ്റ് ആയ രാജേഷ് മുരളീധരൻ എന്നയാൾ തീർത്തും മോശമായ രീതിയിൽ ആണ് രോഗിയോട് പെരുമാറിയത്. എന്റെ ഇളയമ്മക്ക് ക്രോണിക്ക് ആയ കാർഡിയാക്ക് പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ കുറേക്കാലമായി ഉണ്ട്. കുറച്ചു കാലമായി ഈ രാജേഷ് മുരളീധരന്റെ ചികിത്സായിലുമാണ്. പെട്ടെന്ന് സ്ട്രോക്ക് വന്ന് അവിടെ അഡ്മിറ്റ്‌ ആയപ്പോൾ താങ്കളുടെ ചികിത്സയിൽ ആയിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും ഇളയമ്മ ഒരു Cardiac Patient കൂടി ആയിരുന്നതിനാൽ സ്വാഭാവികമായും Cardiologist കൂടി ഒന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ, താങ്കളും ഞങ്ങളും(പല തവണ) Request ചെയ്‌തെങ്കിലും അയാൾ വേണ്ട സമയത്ത് ഒരു തവണ പോലും രോഗിയെ കാണാൻ കൂട്ടാക്കിയില്ല. ICU വിൽ ഉള്ളപ്പോഴാണല്ലോ നോക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത്. അപ്പോഴൊക്കെ അയാൾക്ക് ഭയങ്കര തിരക്കായിരുന്നുവത്രെ. ഒടുവിൽ ICU വിൽ നിന്ന് മുറിയിലെത്തി രണ്ടു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞാണ് ഭിഷഗ്വര ശിരോമണിയുടെ തിരക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞ് രോഗിയെ കാണാൻ കൂട്ടാക്കിയത്. ഡിസ്ചാർജ്‌ ആയതിനു ശേഷം ഇളയമ്മ മറ്റൊരു ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ആണ് ചികിത്സ എടുക്കുന്നത്. ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് താങ്കളോടും ബേബി മെമ്മോറിയൽ ആശുപത്രിയോടും യാതൊരു കാലുഷ്യവുമില്ല. നന്ദി മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളൂ. പക്ഷെ, ഈ രാജേഷ് മുരളീധരന്റെ നിഴൽ പോലും ഇനി കാണാതിരിക്കട്ടെ എന്ന് മാത്രമാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന. Hippocratic Oath ന് പുല്ലുവില കല്പിക്കുന്ന ഇത്തരം Hypocrites ഏതൊരു ആതുരാലയത്തിനും ഒരു ശാപമെന്നല്ലാതെ എന്ത് പറയാൻ???

ഞാന്‍ ലക്ഷദ്വീപ് കാരനാണ്. ദ്വീപുകളില്‍ stroke ന്നുള്ള ചികിത്സാ സൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ കൊച്ചി യിലേക്ക് air ambulance വഴി evacuate ചെയ്യുകയാണ് പതിവ്. എന്നാല്‍ ഈ air ambulance കിട്ടാൻ ചിലപ്പോള്‍ മണിക്കൂറുക ളും ദിവസങ്ങളും എടുക്കും. ഇങ്ങിനെ യുള്ള സാഹചര്യം വന്നാല്‍ പെട്ടെന്ന് കൊടുക്കാൻ പറ്റുന്ന ചികില്‍സ രീതി എന്താണ്. ദയവായി ഉപദേശം നല്‍കുക
