Good vid...it’s the whole carb. A lot of vids don’t do the whole thing. I’m still unclear on how the two springs that pull the butterfly closed are installed. Just took my super e apart. How about a video just showing that? The rest of it’s a piece of cake.

Jeffrey Lonigro, I’m in the same spot. Damned springs are a pain to align. I got the throttle spring in, but am unsure if the accelerator pump lever/spring should be loose or tight... there’s nothing out there that helps with this.

J Ump ok...figured it out last night. If you don’t have a manual you can download one from s&s. It shows the exploded view. On the accelerator side there are two little parts that fit together. One has a little lever that presses on the accelerator pump rod.they each have little slot and hole. The spring hooks fit in there. Next, you have to kind of wind it up and fit it on the shaft so there is tension on it.

Humberto Salazar I watched your video I did a mild rebuild gasket Springs ball bearings and when I reinstalled it started leaking gas look like it was coming out of the accelerator pump

Probably too late but i think it is the pump cap, maybe is not seated correctly or the accelerator pump is pinched or ripped and is letting fuel leak out.

whats the difference between the regular super e&g and the shorty?? will a basic e&g rebuild kit work for the shorty carb? just got a 98 fatboy in trade with a shorty G on it and needs a lot of attention.
