I honestly love how many places they recreated by hand in the new engine. I’m constantly stumbling into buildings I remember from the trilogy and I already know the layout. Really adds to the feeling of returning to the zone years later and seeing how the places you’ve come to know have changed.

For Stalker 2, I wouldn't really say it's a "stylized" color pallet cause it doesn't seem to be trying to look too different when it comes to art style, it's just not a very well done job from those that were in charge for the color pallet/color grading.

Frame Generation solved me in 1440p the problems because it is a very CPU heavy game, I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D with an RTX 4080 and it is really very playable with this combination.

Great video, must have been hard to produce!! It demonstrates few things: - OG stalkers had incredible graphics for the time - we hitting the diminishing returns hard, new game runs 10x worse and looks 2x better - at some aspects, the OG looks even better than the new game...

Even though technically speaking, Stalker 2 is undoubtedly generations more advanced in graphical fidelity than original trilogy, the trilogy's color pallet definitely looks more natural/realistic. Stalker 2 is very detailed when it comes to object density, has great texture res, good lighting etc... but the color pallet really could and should be better when it comes to art direction.

if you use anomaly as a base and download the texture pack (i cant remember the name of it buts its in 3 parts its a popular one) along with screen space shaders mod, atmospheric mod, colour grading mod, the food and drink animation mod, weapon cover tilt mod, Aydis grass mod, vehicles texture mod, camera reanimation project and a reshade you can defiantly make it look better than stalker 2 in a lot of aspects

@@nonbiri8904 nope, you are probably adding demanding mods on a system that can't run it, or you haven't got enough single core power to run it, the old engine only uses 1 core, its kinda like skyrim, if you haven't got good single core performance than you will struggle with skyrim mods quickly. My modded anomaly runs pretty butter smooth with 100fps. meanwhile on stalker 2 on 1440p high settings (not epic) with ddlsQ my 1% are 60fps with a 4080 super and a 14700k, i also have a 14600k i tested and it was using 10% less GPU and was causing me stutters, I also have a 3070 I tested and its unplayable with 8gb vram the 1% lows were 3fps meanwhile I can run my modded anomaly fine with my 3070. to play stalker 2 at 1440p high settings with ddls on Q stutter free you need a minimum of a 14700k and a 4080 super.

Я жил в таких местах, в Новосибе этих заброшенных цехов на каждом углу, мы лазили по ним и выглядело всё как в тенях Чернобыля, пусто, заброшенно, безнадёжно и серо, небыло травы она выгорала на жаре, небыло зелени, ни кто её не поливал, всё было ржаво, серо и безлюдно. Во втором же сталкере как в четвёртом фолауте всё живо и красочно, нет чувств безысходности.

Сейчас бы сравнивать реальную жизнь в Новосибе с компьютерной графикой. В старых частях она такая пустая, поскольку движок просто не вытягивал детализацию, густую растительность и цветность повышенной битности. А в реальной ЧЗО не как в Новосибе, там повсюду густая растительность, которая пробивается буквально сквозь дороги и дома. А красочность в игре зависит от динамической погоды, там бывают и шторма, которые не выглядят красочно. Так что справа все выглядит намного правдоподобнее, если уж и сравнивать графику с реальностью.

its terrible optimization but bare in mind hes playing 4k epic settings on a 10700f. i have a 14600k and a 4080 super and get 1% lows of 60fps,I have a 14600k as well and with that I was using 10% less GPU and getting stutter, so in order to play 1440p high settings with ddls on Q basically stutter free you need a minimum of a 14700k and a 4080 super lol, I also tested a 3070 with the 14700k and it was unplayable because of 8gb vram, 1% lows were 3fps

The CPU is not going to show you 100% usage even if it is saturated, because the games do not use all the cores effectively. The way to know if the CPU is a problem is to see that the GPU is not close to 100%.

the ratings are weird on steam realistically it should be mixed, people are giving it a positive review whiles complaining about the game. A lot of people who have bought it on pc can't play it because of how unoptimized it is, i have a 14700k and a 4080 super, I'm getting 60fps 1% lows playing 1440p high settings (not epic) with ddls on Q, so in order to play high settings 1440p with little to no stutter you need a 4080 super at a minimum but then you need the cpu for it, I also have a 14600 i tested and with the 14600 compare to the 14700 i was using 10% less GPU and it was causing me to stutter with my 1% lows. I also tested it on a 3070 and it was unplayable because of 8gb vram, the 1% lows were 3fps. so to play comfortably at 1440p high settings with ddls on Q with little to no stutter, with my cpu and gpu its going to cost £1300 $1600 lol.

Рейтинги в стиме уже "в основном положительные" , хотя прошло 4 дня с релиза. Будет большой удачей если они такими и останутся но я в это не верю. Украинцы поддержали игру на старте , это понятно , но сейчас начинает подтягиваться западная аудитория которая не ставит плюсы за просто так. Why chase fps? I don't know, maybe to play the game without random dips into 50fps causing huge stutters. watching somebodies guide on fps doesn't mean anything we all know which settings to turn down, we know textures can take up vram, we know shadows and volumetric lights etc can cause pretty big performance losses we already know all of this you don't need to watch a video on it. And just because its not a multi[player fps doesn't mean its okay to have stutters that's just ret@rded bro im sorry. to read my reply and type what you have is just dumb. Also updates are not going to fix the performance issues we have seen this with many games over the years, even if it did get fixed you will still get traversal stutter because its running on unreal engine 5
