S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 vs REAL CHERNOBYL nuclear power plant. Graphics Comparison 2

Pripyat and Chernobyl are the abandoned territories that became the foundation for the popular game Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl. Ukrainian developers carefully transferred most of the objects of the Chernobyl zone to the game engine Unreal Engine 5.
In the last video I showed a comparison of Pripyat location from the game with the real city. Today you will see directly the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and its surroundings.

GSC game world didn't just "decide to not add the new sarcophagus," the first stalker game came out in 2007, well before the new sarcophagus. And the game is in an alternate reality where in 2006 due to experiments in and around the exclusion zone, a second disaster occurred which created the stalker zone. GSC didn't see the new sarcophagus and think, "Hm, we won't add this new version," but they can't add it due to the already extensive universe GSC made for the series.

@gotrefer6183 Sort of. The Sarcohpagus was built, that's the original containment structure. It was built directly into the damaged walls around the very exploded reactor 4 chamber. New Safe Contaiment is the giant steel hanger like structure over the plant IRL. Definitely wouldn't be possible to build the new one in stalker though, just getting the resources through dangerous mutants, deadly anomalies, anarchists and whatever else the Zone throws your way would be basically undoable.

@@gotrefer6183 That's incorrect. Just look at the cnpp in any of the games, the sarcophagus is there. Stalkers timeline is the same as real life up until 2006. The old sarcophagus was built very soon after the disaster happened.

This is impossible. The game has an agreement with xbox. It's coming to PS though. The xbox deal keeps it from winning anything major. Those awards are pro sony, even the presenter is a ps fanboy.

Так и есть. Потому что профессиональный геймдизайн подстроен под ощущение на восприятие от визуала доступного на плоском экране. А риал он такой какой и есть. То же самое если сравниваешь обычную сцену из кинофильма, освещённую кинематографическим светом профессиональными световиками с помощью специального кино-оборудования, да еще и после допобработки... С обычной фотографией. Пусть даже снятой на хороший фотик, пусть даже на пленку, пусть даже на специальный фотообъектив(хотя это уже "костыль")... Короче если в лоб - хорошо обработанная фотка будет смотреться для тебя более естественно чем то, что ты увидишь собственным глазом. Резкость у родного хрусталика глаза не та, контраст хуже итд. Точно так же как вкус колбасы сдобреной усилителями вкуса намного "естественней" чем жрать просто обычную чисто мясную. Если привык к промышленной колбасе - домашняя будет отдавать советской промакашкой

The station actually worked and produced power until year 2000, and from there the work was mostly about building the new containment and maintaining the old one as it was crumbling. The rest of work is research and monitoring the situation around the zone and inside spent fuel storage units. Before war there was 1600 workers on the station and now there are 460 along with military as CNPP is right on the border.
