Back in the day tower defense games were my favourite. I still remember playing Starcraft custom tower defense games.

Feel like, as with other genres, developers took more creative risks. Nowadays TDs are just the same formula - start with a cheap single-target tower, then you get a cannon splash tower, then a slow tower, then a chain lightning tower, etc etc

I really miss the starcraft TD's you had so much freedom to make mazes and see if they were good or not. Really dont linear tower defenses anymore

Sitrep is military lingo for SITuation REPort. Soldiers are notorious for abreviating, nicknaming and backronyming everything.

Sitrep is shorthand for situation report. Also, if you're trying not to say "I guess" so much, you could change it up and say "I suppose"

Element TD was one of my biggest inspiration to get into video game development. Amazing to see these great minds are still building for us gamers 🙌🏾

Ah, cool seeing you play this one. I know you have other TD games on the channel, but I wasn't sure if this was still in EA or you just got to it now lol I had my fun with this in 2023, but yes, it's a terrific TD game from the ETD guys. Reminds me of a couple games from the old days, one of which I can't remember the name of and I absolutely LOVED playing (and it had coop) and it's driving me nuts. It was a futuristic TD swarm style game and was so fun playing with my friends (I think it had up to 4 player coop, which is great for a TD game). I've tried searching Google but I just can't think of the game's details enough to find it lol

I wish someone would make a new Tower Defense game based off of Gem TD (From Warcraft 3). I think the idea behind that TD is really good and the TD itself is really fun. Could only imagine it being so much better with modern graphics and even more gems / combinations.

If you like that sort of "deeper" TD type game, you might consider Sanctum 2. Yep, it's an older game, but watching you play this reminds of quite a bit of Sanctum 2, particularly the maze building part.

Really hard so say, they are both top notch. I enjoyed competing against other players in Ele TD and also enjoy the fantasy style more than scifi. On the other hand, Axon is probably a bit more complex, so if you are a TD veteran it might be more interesting to you. Both great TD games though, so no wrong decision here really
