To me the Arven riddle seems like it’s possible that he is both of their child and somehow one of the parents (the opposite professor of whatever game exclusive one u have) was lost in time somehow, possibly due to the legendaries. So Arven’s goal could partly be to find his lost parent to reunite his family

for the Poison/Steel pokemon, I'm assuming that it's just the engine itself, not the whole car, cuz idk it is just weird to decorate the tips of the exhaust with purple "poison-like" drip marks and the rest of the vehicle doesn't seem to have any of it. The pokemon itself might just be inside the hood of the car or something. We didn't even see the front, there could've been a face there that we didn't know since the "engine" is at the very front of the vehicle.

Why when you hear "engine pokemon" you think of something vehicle related. Could also mean a robot pokemon. You could say robots have batteries but a steampunk robot of some sorts that is rusted could be having a engine(something like a golurk).... idk just spitballing here

"Engine pokemon" pertains to any kind of machine-like or machine-themed pokemon designs and concepts. You might have misunderstood what I said, I'm actually against the idea of the pokemon being an actual vehicle because that's what most people thought of, and it would be weird for the franchise to have that. Also, I did state the exhaust decal detail because it's weird that IF the vehicle itself is the pokemon, then why only the exhaust have those poison-like drip marks on it.

The engine for the truck is the Pokémon, not the whole vehicle. If you look close they have different texture types. If you go to the press site and look at the back "wheel" for the truck in those images you'll see the different textures there as well. Possibly it's pre-evolution or a separate Pokémon.

The dolphin in the picture is the Yu-Gi-Oh card Neo Spacian Aqua Dolphin. That card has a an "evolution" sort to speak called Neo Spacian Marine Dolphin. It has the same stats and barely changes appearance. Could be a pokemon that evolves but just alters it's appearance slightly. Not enough to be considered an evolution by traditional standards.

I first thought that Arvin may be a desendant of Sada and an ancestor to Turo. But I think it's also possible that he's their son and that one of the parents got 'kindapped' and is lost in time so they need to get them back. And the offical site says they are version exclusive profs; maybe the one that is lost isn't the prof but has some other thing they do? Kinda fits with the Lake House movie or something that Khu put.

10:06 - with fidough being an uncooked dessert, it could be the milcery/alcremie of the region where it gets multiple forms depending on the toppings/flavor tbh, not sure how it could relate to 108 aside from 108 total combinations of topping/flavor. alcremie has 70 possible combinations edit: my theory with the "gen 6" hint is it refers to the gen where they introduced pokemons with a lot of alt forms? vivillon, flabebe, floette, florges, furfrou, pyroar, meowstic, pumpkaboo/gourgeist (sizes) also cells (or zygarde cells) hint might just be to reinforce that this pokemon line is a collectible edit 2: my theory for the treasure background is that evolving fidough is involved with the treasure hunt quest. we are not going to search for literal treasure like gold but for SPICES. this is inspired by magellan's expedition to search for spices (which are considered as a luxury during their time). that's why arven is your rival/companion, bc he is knowledgeable in cooking. we also have a screenshot of perhaps in the middle of a cutscene of arven and the player closely inspecting a glowing plant that said, maybe we can evolve fidough by combining spices and flavors?

For the dolphin riddle: The image shown is from a ygo card and its name is Neo-spacian Aqua dolphin and it just so happened that Neo-spacian Aqua dolphin has a fusion form(evolved form?) called Neo-spacian Marine dolphin. The thing here is that Marine dolphin has an effect that it is also treated as Neo-spacian Aqua dolphin, so even though Neo-spacian Aqua dolphin changed forms(evolved) it actually didn't at the same time. Maybe.

i reckon the engine pokemon is kind of like rotom but for vehicles! a group of people in paldea (maybe the "evil" team?) put it in different vehicles and have possibly illegal street races. one of the three stories will involve racing penny (probs related to "evil" team leader)at the 4 different coloured flags across the map! the reason penny is always missing class is cause she's busy drag racing (which sounds pretty badass lol) each race may be against a different vehicle that correspond to the flag colours (red, blue, purple, pink) and each race will possible be a using a different form of our legendary (land race, water race, climbing race over rough terrain and a gliding race)

i also think the 4 different coloured lighthouses across the map will each unlock a new ride mode of our legendary, so we may have to visit those before being able to participate in certain races? red would unlock ride form, right at the start of the game yellow and blue would unlock climb and swim which we can get in any order green would unlock gliding, which is on a part of the map that can't be accessed without surf of climb, making it the final traversal form!

Just realized that "paradox" pokemon makes sense if you think of the grandfather paradox where if you go back in time to kill your grandfather before he can have kids you shouldn't exist to do it in the first place. Don't think I've heard anyone mention it but it lends itself to a time travel mechanic in the game.

The two professors could both be the parents of Arven, but in either game one of them acidentally time traveled (either to the past or the future) when doing field research. Arven's story would be helping his mom(Sada) or dad(Turo) find a way to bring the other back to their present day.

As far as that dolphin thing is concerned. It makes me think of the Amazon River dolphin/pink dolphins. born gray just like any other dolphin but because of how aggressive they are they get into tons of brutal fights with each other and over time they turn pink. their pink color is actually permanent scar tissue. So maybe like wishy-washy when it reaches a certain level it's from changes. It's not evolution he's just covered in tons of Battle Scars.

For the legendaries I like the idea that Koraidon looks goofy at first but it actually works in terms of the lore for the game. Koraidon just happens to have biological parts of his body that look like mechanical parts, the future people when creating Maraidon decided to give its body parts the added function of wheels as just like we see that Koraidon is flawed and could be better they did as well and physically made him “better”. Or that’s my own head canon lol sounds cool that way

The alphabets in map riddle has been solved as Gym types by one of the commentors. The first alphabet of how the Chinese translated word is pronounce. For example, Ice translated to Mandarin is 冰, and 冰 is pronounced as "bing", so you have B. Ice - 冰 bing Bug - 蟲 chong Grass - 草 cao Ground - 地 di Electric - 電 dian Water - 水 shui Not too sure about Normal and Ghost. I'm wondering which Mandarin word they're using to mean Normal, because as you know, there could be many words that have the same or similar definition, but the obvious ones that come to mind don't start with Y. And for Ghost, the directly translated word would be 鬼 which is pronounced as gui, starting with G not Y. Or another word that can generally mean Ghost is 靈, pronounced as ling, which starts with L. Though we use 靈 to typically mean Spirit and 鬼 to mean Ghost. I'm gonna go Google which words they use for the Pokémon types in China, and update this. [Update: In Chinese versions, Normal and Ghost types are 幽靈 (you ling) and 一般 (yi ban). Ahhh now I see. For Ghost, they're using a more formal term, instead of relying on the second word for it's simplicity. And 一般 technically means Common or Average, not Normal, but I can see why they'd choose that term to define Pokémon who have a typing that aren't as "unique" as the others, since the other Typings would be deemed as "superpowers" in the real world, and being able to Scratch is just "Ordinary". 😯]

My theory with the engine Pokémon is that the Pokémon isn’t actually the whole truck, but rather just the engine in the front. The truck is a husk that can’t be used until the engine mon slots itself in front. The mon is Poison/Steel right? Well, look at the engine exhaust pipes. They have purple, almost poisony-looking designs on them. I think that’s our mon.

So I heard this theory from someone on Twitter, I wanna hear what other people think: Koraidon and Miraidon are the ancient and future forms of a third legendary. Strong Pokémon that look similar to modern Pokémon yet are different and vastly more powerful. It could explain why Koraidon and Miraidon look so similar. “They’re the same, but they’re not”. Koraidon and Miraidon may be alternate forms of the same Pokémon, but Koraidon and Miraidon themselves are different and opposite from one another. Thoughts anyone?

As much as we all love Lapras, based on the wording about not being so technical, I think the crawling gen 1 pokemon will be Tentacool, looking at how other riddles have been done its probably because crawl sounds like (Tenta)cruel. And the car thing? The pokemon is JUST the engine part, it's probably used by people in the region (or maybe just by the evil team) to power their cars. The engine is even silver and purple, just like the supposed typing, which makes sense for an engine (pollution). The car is just way too over detailed and busy to be a pokemon design. I also wondered if Arvin was maybe a time traveller, searching for something but covering it up, kind of like Volo in Legends Arceus.

Okay, so my current theory about Arven's connection to Professors Sada and Turo is that whatever is causing the Paradox Pokemon to appear also brought Sada and Turo together. They fell in love and had Arven, but one of them had to go back to their original time period and was forced to leave Arven behind. Kaka said that the story was sad, so maybe Arven's story will end with him being able to briefly reunite with his missing parent?

The Pokemon evolving but not evolving makes me think of 2 things. 1. The mon evolves like a normal 2 stage evolution but the Pokemon it evolves into is a less evolved version of itself. Think a frog Pokemon that evolves into a tadpole Pokemon. 2. Similar to the first option but the Pokemon can keep evolving into the Pre-evolution. Think Pikachu as the base but it can evolve into Pichu, but that Picu can evolve into Pikachu, and so on.

There's no way the car is itself a Pokemon, it might be an engine Pokémon that is causing the car to move as if it was haunted or something. Like maybe there is an event or a quest in SV where someone is worried about that car moving on its own and once you catch it a Pokemon comes out of it and ends up being the reason why the car was moving

It could just be that the professors are dressed that way due to personal preferred aesthetic that fits the theme of the version. Similar to Opelucid City and White City being more traditional/natural in Pokemon White and Opelucid City and Black City being more technologically advanced/futuristic looking in Pokemon White. They both take place at the same time just in completely different universes. However it would be cool if both professors time travelled from the past and future respectively. Both of them are present in each game but of course only one is the official professor of the region, and they did have a child together.

I think the Pokemon that everyone is failing to consider in regards to Kou's "evolving but not evolving"... is Sylvally. Type:Null does not evolve into Sylvally. It uses the evolution animation, but all that is really happening is that Type:Null is shedding its restraints and becoming the Pokemon it has always been. Type:Null is just a "Bound Sylvally". So perhaps this new Pokemon Kou is teasing works like that. It "evolves, but it doesn't really evolve".

Normal Types are broken - because they have the broadest movesets type wise. As they have huge coverage - imagine Fairy Type Play Rough Snorlax or Slaking. 14:15 Unless most Pokemon get Hidden Power back, but with the newest mechanic from Legends Arceus - so STAB and always Super Effective 60 power move. 16:40 Maybe when it evolves it just looks the same. The Sudowoodo and Teddiursa riddles are most likely referring to the Convergent Evolution type pokemon also hinted at this generation. We know we are getting a water type pokemon similar to Diglett, so my guess would be a Grass type pokemon similar to Sudowoodo (that looks like it's made out of rocks), and then a bug type pokemon that looks like Teddiursa in order to keep them away from their honey.

i think the poison and steel mon is the engine that kaka told us about since Mr riddler's image of it was so close up, so the bus it's self is not a pokemon but is powered and driven by the pokemon as it's engine maybe so the bus is more of a shell given to it then the proper pokemon like how flabebe uses real flowers that aren't connected to it, so you might even find the engine roaming by it's self with no shell but maybe the villains added one to it or there's a trainer who adds the bus shell to it.

If it evolves, it doesn't evolve, could be referring to it just getting a crystalized skin or something, but not actually evolving. Something else, it could gain a weapon without changing form. So think of it like the Wolf Legends from SwSh. He specifically used Neo-Spacien Aqua Dolphin from Yu-Gi-Oh. In that, Aqua Dolphin has a crystalized form before it turns into Aqua Dolphin, which might just mean a crystalized skin.

Even Mimicry is often involving some purposes against the target species like a protection from predatprs. So if the pokedex biology doesn't say such reasons then maybe meme explains it better.
