@Ryan Singleton @Lex Bryant Scott's brain injury is gone. Remember when he was killed in that suicide mission and resurrected in house of x? When the Five resurrect mutants, they rebuild their bodies from scratch, without any of the injuries they had in their previous life, including injuries to the brain. The physical damage to Scott's mind has been fixed for a while now; psychological damage, on the other hand, is another thing. Remember that Scott went through a traumatic incident in which he believed his parents and brother had been killed after their plane was destroyed. Something like that is bound to mess you up, and Emma Frost even revealed in Astonishing X-men that Scott had placed mental blocks on his power because he was afraid of it, and afterwards he had gained control over it, if only briefly. Scott has even stated that he is a "master of repression." This implies that his lack of control of his powers is psychological; it's also been considered that he can't control his optic blasts because his body has become dependent on his ruby quartz visor and glasses, so there's that too.

Another thought... Frenzy-Scott related. Is it possible that Scott rethinks this relationship? In this mew age of Krakoa, the rules seem different or at the least, very flexible. Relationship dynamics that is. Logan/Jean/Scott; Jean/Scott/Emma; Emma/Scott/Joanna? With the mutant law of Make More Mutants, I could see this as allowable. As a Cyclops fan, it’s be an interesting reason to get Scott on the Peak and guesting in the book. Ambient thoughts generated by the video.

Abigail is similar to Bishop and even Star Lord. Bishop wouldn't consider himself a Black Slave and connect with other Black People, but he would connect more with mutants of all together. Star Lord would most likely be at home out in Space because that's where he was raised. So Abigail isnt the only one.

I get where Hope was coming from but I feel like she was being a bit self-righteous. She calls it human-thinking even though probably a majority of the mutant leaders are doing the exact same thing (x, mags, sinister, frost, Shaw, Apocolypse, and definitely beast). The difference is Abigails is least likely to lead to a civil war. It's Practical-thinking. It's cold but sometimes you need cold for people to live.

Yeah the funny thing about this is that everyone seems to forget that Cables arm and most of his [metal] body is not prosthetic. It is the result of a virus that is slowly turning his body from biological to Mechanical sort of like a worst version of the phalyx. Is part of a weird time Loop where he was infected as a baby by apocalypse and then as the young man he goes to try and kill apocalypse only to infect him with the same virus. Both of them are using their mutant powers to keep the virus from killing them though in cables case it seems to be a losing battle. A battle to take some decades to lose but still a battle that he is losing

I've never been the biggest fan of cosmic titles so I was interested in S.W.OR.D but didn't think it peak my inteets the way Hellions & Marauders has, but this issue was fire! Loved watching Knull/Cable playing tag with Manifold. Also thought the discussion about his Omega potential was interesting cause I commented under your last S.W.OR..D vid that Manifold abilities sounds Omega to me. Sidebar: Gotta give kudos to Marvel for al the emphasis they're placing on Black characters recently (they've always been better at it than DC lets be honest). The fact that Frenzy and Manifold, usually C list at best, were the MVP's this issue is great sign of things to come.

What if one of the mutants is Sabertooth? If they are meeting to readjust the second law about killing humans, what if Magneto wants to reevaluate Sabertooth's crimes? I always thought it was weird that they sent a well known killer on a mission where there was supposed to be NO KILLING (especially considering there were TONS of other options you could have gone with) and then punished him for it AFTER creating the law he broke. If a regular mutant had seen that, I'm sure that wouldn't make the Quiet Council look good at all.

I'm gonna be honest. I'm waiting for more Random and Risque. I'm actually much more interested in Risque than I am in random. Her powers are just way too cool for her to be a background ornament. Not to mention she still has unaddressed issues to resolve with Warpath. Anyway, this was a good issue for what KIB meant for Krakoa. A lot of the members of SWORD finally get to show off more of what they can do. Manifold translocating genuine sun fire to rip the symbiote off of Cable, Wiz Kid styling on symbiotes, Frenzy ripping Cable apart--the SWORD team is just styling over this Knull nonsense. I'm here for it. But what I appreciated the most about this issue, is the deep dive that we got for Frenzy. Contrary to what Eden believed, Frenzy was not playing possum. At the beginning of the issue, we see Frenzy drifting within a dark and vast empty space. She explains that she doesn't remember what happened, but she feels the pressure of that abyss pressing down on her. She says she's "alone in the dark" but follows by saying "nothing hurts me" even if something tries. We see Frenzy collect her thoughts and resist the control of the symbiotes as she calmly affirms that all she needs is something to latch on to--just someplace to start. The thing with Frenzy is that she's a domestic abuse survivor. She endured both verbal and physical abuse at the hands of her father. Her father was a soldier who wanted his family legacy to consist of soldiers. But Joanna was female and was born physically inept. She was fragile and constantly got sick. After her brother's death, her father attacked her one last time causing her powers to emerge. Joanna killed her father in reflex, which caused her to flee her home. Given the trauma that Joanna has endured and the woman she is in SWORD, we can definitely observe how far she's come. The symbiote's hold over her is synonymous with the rage and anger that used to weigh her down. And here we see her confront a similar darkness and navigate it with genuine expertise. And she does so just in time to deliver a crippling blow to Cable. For context, even the morally infallible Peter Parker struggled under the influence of Venom. Frenzy, on the other hand, was consumed by Knull's dragons and oppressed by the symbiote hivemind...And she easily resisted being controlled by the symbiotes AND Knull. That is *insane* . Eden was wonderful in this issue, but Jo' tho...She was low-key MVP . The pain she endured throughout her whole life prepared her for the KIB invasion. Quite poetic.

Question, so if Manifold is talking to the universe itself, does that mean he is talking to Captain Universe/The Enigma Force? If Im not mistaken, Eddie Brock has become the next host of Captain Universe so it makes sense that Manifold could fight back the symbiotes considering he is using a similar power. As to his Omega level status, since he only "asks the universe for favors" it makes sense that whoever out there "tells the universe to do anything" would be his Omega level counterpart.
