Pretty inexpensive handgun made by S&W, very similar to a Glock. Not my favorite one for sure, but can still do the job with out breaking the bank.

Live in New Hampshire and my SD9VE came with a 8.5 trigger pull and did not but apply Weapon Shield on the trigger bar and it went down to 6lbs. It might not be a tac driver or ideal for EDC, but it wasn't designed for those purpose, mines is more then enough accurate at 15 yards. Grew up with double action revolvers and the SD9VE trigger pull from New York, Massachusetts or Canada doesn't effect me. Seen a lot worse firearms over the 50 years of owning them. Seen some videos where some needed to make adjustment on their rear sight, although doesn't happen often you could have received a bad barrel?

I ear you, I really don’t think it’s a bad gun, it’s just not for me for the reason I mentioned in the video. I’m sure if I pent some time with it I might learn to use it appropriately, but it left me unimpressed. Anyway I appreciate your input and thanks for watching.

The old Sigma was my first pistol, purchased over 20 years ago and I've still got it. The stock trigger on it is awful, but that is how I rocked it for many years, including for concealed carry. However, an Apex trigger installed turns it from a mediocre gun into one that is pretty decent... not quite as good as a Glock, but really close

Yeah, my problem is I have other very good handguns, I did not felt like fiddling with it to make it passable. Also it just felt wrong in hands. I’m sure it’s a decent gun, especially for carry, just not for me. I appreciate the comment and thanks for watching!

Prettiest, no. Reliable, yes. I don’t like the trigger, but there are aftermarket replacements. I don’t like the rear grip texture. It’s too aggressive. For the price, it was hard not to get one even with the expense of aftermarket’s. The only real killer in my opinion is he long tigger pull. It was meant as a self defense weapon, not a tunable competition gun.

If you have the funds and can get anything else then a low budget option won’t be an option. And if you have a lot of experience with higher tier firearms then this may not be the gun for you. But for me I’m used to mine and I like it. I can have any other pistol I want but mine works I’ll keep it. I may buy another one but that first sd9ve will always be my go to pistol.

That is a very fair comment. iI is a popular and affordable handgun, but it was not for me. Thanks for watching!
