Thought I had commented on the last video, but apparently not! The Eagles nest has been on my list of places to visit, but not yet ticked that one. From your video I completely agree with you regarding how it’s been run. I would have liked it to have been a museum/ historical venue rather than a moneymaking theme park. It appears to be a little like Lands end in Cornwall, where it’s costs you to turn around!! The film “Where Eagles Dare” is one of my all time favourite films. I will be putting this location on my list of places to visit and looking forward to your video on that one. 👍

Well that's the Eagles Nest off of my to do list then. Totally agree with you that it should never have been commercialised and instead left how it was. I've visited many WW1 / 2 sites and the whole essence is standing in gun placements or wherever and using your imagination for how it was to have fought there. Did it as a kid in the 50s at Camber Sands when you could still get into the Pill Boxes. Now wondering whether Colditz would be better to visit. Thanks for saving me time and money.

It is disappointing and worth visiting only if your are in the area, we was going to Salzburg anyway, and thought it was too good an opportunity to miss. Glad i didn't travel a long way just for it though, i have heard good things about Colditz, you can even stay there i believe.

Awesome twistys through the forest from the Nest, what was the road surface like ? It looked like you had a dryer ride but wet kit probably isn’t pleasant…. Looking forward to the next one, kind regards…

The road surfaces in Germany and Austria are superb... in fact most of Europe is better than UK roads. Smooth and pot hole free!

The massive pile of 'sawdust' I think was bio-fuel for what looked like a power station across the road, the place with the chimney.

Awww sorry, it was just a couple of bits luckily. I do sometimes add music but not all the way through like some do.... unless there is an audio problem and its better than silence lol. Its always hard when choosing music too, because i have no idea what kind of music people are into, we are all different
