Please provide a citation for your assertion that a Citizen of a nation is property of that nation. If your definition was correct, every government on the planet could prohibit you from leaving for a different country, something that is specifically protected by the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), and UDHR13.2 makes such claims of ownership impossible. Property can't choose to leave its owner. UDHR1 unequivocally states the error of your assertion: "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights." If you are free, you can not be property. UDHR3: "Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the security of person." UDHR4: "No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms." A Citizen, according to various and relevant dictionaries is: Black's Law Dictionary: "A Member of a free city or jural society, possessing all the rights which can be enjoyed by any person under it's constitution and government and subject to the corresponding duties." Webster: "A native or naturalized person who owes allegiance to a government and is entitled to protection from it." Cambridge: "a person who is a member of a state or country and has legal rights there." dictionary.com: "a native registered or naturalized member of a state, nation, or other political community."

@@toxictroll7843 The paper is irrelevant, that words have meaning is the totality. That people have gotten together and agreed that when we use these words we agree that they have these meanings is the defining mark of civilization. We write things down so that those who come after us and those not present can know what was decided here, so that they know when we use these words that have these meanings that they too can know what was agreed. If you are going to support the position that being a citizen is analgous to being a slave to that nation, you're going to have to provide some kind of support for that position other than "Yur Dubm." Fine, I'm dumb, if you're so smart then, enlighten me, convince me that my position is wrong. Nut up or shut up.

UN is well known to be tyrannical and part of the problem among educated people. Their smoke and mirrors only fool the weak minded.
