This was arguably the episode that cemented Last Week Tonight’s place in popular culture for the next 10 years, I hate the term “viral” but after this aired, the show went from being almost unheard of to being talked about in every office in the country. It’s been a great addition to my entertainment diet ever since. Cheers!

Yep, this was the episode! After this, the FCC site was inundated with comments which caused it to crash for some people and it was really the first time the show demonstrated is power to effect change! There's multiple instances of this show changing public perception or public interest in many subjects over the year and this is the one that started that proud tradition!

Those kids (sorry, young people) were a joy to listen to. Not only is their grammar correct, but their attitudes (I'm including the young lady as well as the two young gentlemen) were far, _far_ more grown-up than the red half of government has been for quite some time, particularly since 2016. Now that they are fully grown adults, I do hope they're using their innate maturity in their general life as well as at work or university (undoubtedly heading for PhDs or similar!) It's time to stop knocking the younger generations. They've got a lot to teach the older ones, especially when it comes to "playing nicely".
