You missed the "tame' stingray in Struisbaai harbour ! There is a big sign telling you all about it and it swims around a certain area in the harbour. Quite amazing.

Drat, disappointing that the reserve was closed :( I imagine it was disappointing for you as well. But the footage you got of the herons was nice 👍

Thank you, we just love herons! We often watch them fish in False Bay, really pretty birds. Sadly, I don't think the Reserve was just closed on this particular day, I think it may be permanently closed. 😢 This is purely judging from the fact that we saw no traces of recent activity there on the day we visited. Hopefully I'm wrong and we'll find it open and operational when we pass by there again. You're watching some of our older videos, which is great to see! 🚗😁

Are you going to do a look around of Struisbaai at any point?

We visited Struisbaai shortly after we started our channel and were still feeling our way around at that time, so didn't do in-depth exploring of the places like we do now. 🚙😁 We might visit Struisbaai again in the future to do that, but no firm plans in place for that just yet.
