It has been twenty-seven years since we last visited World of Birds in Hout Bay. Taking a leisurely walk through the park again was incredibly relaxing, with all the different species of birds and animals being absolutely fascinating to observe. The vibrant colours of the birds were truly breathtaking, a reminder of just how colourful nature can be. Knowing that many of these animals are rescues brings a sense of comfort, as it’s heartening to see that there is a sanctuary for animals that have lost their homes. The monkeys, porcupines and tortoises were especially fun to watch. Overall, it was a truly memorable day at World of Birds, a special place.

Hi World of birds was very interesting the samurai bird was stunning when I see parrots I always think of a old pal who has passed now who had a parrot that used to wind up his dogs by going meow meow 😂. The servile has a face like domestic cats 🐈 amazing. Beautiful black Swan and kucabara from Australia. Lovely to see the hedgehog I had one in my garden this summer sad they are a rarity today. In the UK.very interesting and enjoyable video thanks for taking me along cheerio till the next one

I love that you share your day trips with us. It's so good to see so many beautiful colourful birds. I love birds so much. Wonderful that rescued ones have found a good home. The pheasant is so handsome, can you believe people shoot them for fun!! The two peafowl made me laugh...mine is bigger than yours! 😅 Peacocks make loud vuvuzela noises at night. We went to Warmwaterbad Spa and there were so many Peacocks there, keeping me awake at night

That peacock sound is unmistakable and super loud! 😁🦚 They're just stunning birds though, especially if their tail feathers are intact and they decide to show off. That white peafowl, although male, looked like a beautiful bride on her wedding day Yup, as non-hunters, we can't understand how anyone can shoot another living creature. 😢

What a beautiful show of birds...I am too ashamed to say that I live in Cape Town and have never been to the World of Birds...but it is definitely on my to-do list now.
