S10 Clutch & Flywheel Install

Today, I take you guys along as I finally make some big progress on the project S10. In this episode, the flywheel and clutch kit get installed and torqued down along with a few other msc things, and then I get the motor and tranny bolted back together at last! Hopefully very soon we will get to sink it all back into the truck!! Watch for the vids!! Thanks for watching, and enjoy!

Just for future reference buddy, when bolting anything on a motor you always use a st ar pattern. So say on your flywheel, you have 5 bolts. After you tighten your first one move to the one directly across from it. It's just to make sure everything is flat on its mating surface.

As a Millwright i can not stress this Enough. Proper Torque Technique Is Extremely Important Especially On Highspeed / High Vibration Machines. Circles Get a Star and Rectangles Are Center-Out Like a Spiral.

On my 91 chevy i replaced the slave cylinder N master cylinder and nothing changed after bleeding. Any ideas? Also while i had the slave cylinder out i used two screw drivers to move the. Arm back and forth. Is there suppose to be spring back?

Q. I have a 1995 s10 chevy.4cyner. 5speed. Cluth is going bad. I removed air from it. That helped alittle. The master cylinder is good! Ok.....does this truck have a slave master cylinder?? If so I can't find it. Could it be the release bearing which is in the tranmission. And for the first time today I noticed it leaking where the transmission bolts up to the engine

Whats up? Nice video, also have a 1993 except mine is the sonoma. I am about to pull my transmission to see whats going on, because i cant get into gear with my t5. Just recently learned that its actually world class! Hasn't given me any issues in about 4 years of ownership until now. My truck only has ~112,000 miles on it so i hope to get as much out of this motor as i can before doing any swaps down the road.

Channel C.G.E. Yours also has the same world class transmission, it was a transition year. Apparently good for up to 300 ft lbs or so of torque!
