There are SO MANY EPISODES where I can legit remember where I was the first time I’ watched them, who I was with, what I was doing. It’s ingrained because of how epic this show is and how deeply it impacted me as a child. The struggle of missing episodes and being in a whole new area is REAL THO 😭🙌 that happened to me in Book 2 with Ba Sing Se 💀

Disagree for two reasons: 1. It makes the world look small when characters keep returning. That was also the weakness of the "White Lotus" reveal, although they got away with that due to it being a "climactic" event. 2. How weird would it be to hear the same voice come out of two young girls? Remember that Toph has become a fulltime member of the group by that point.

@@Simon-A.-Tan this isn’t a strong opinion of mine. It would bee cool don’t have a problem with the fact that she doesn’t come back. We never find out what happens to Makopu village. Would be cool to know if the firenation conquered them too or not. But it’s not a big deal. 1) that’s fair trying in everybody and bringing every one back makes the world feel smaller. I definitely felt that for the day of black sun. Really that tiny fleet of ships sailed all over the world to grab everyone? Some of those people lived far away from each other. So its a fair point. 2) voice actors voicing two characters in the same episode happens. Sometimes the actor can pull it off, sometimes you can tell it’s once person. In the episode OldMasters Jennifer Hail voiced both June and Avatar Kyoshi. I had to look that up. I never realize that was the same person. Maybe Flower could have pulled it off, voicing Toph and Meng in one episode, maybe not.

I was around the same age as Aang and Meng when this came on TV. I really appreciated that this show basically said, "it's OK if your crush doesn't feel the same way about you," when most of my peers at the time treated it like a disaster if a guy failed to notice you.

8:27 Well... story time 'XD So, I'm an autistic guy, who was a very insecure teen at high school. I had deep lying trust issues, because I was bullied a lot because of my autism and didn't consider myself attractive whatsoever. So, when a very attractive girl came up to me and was like: "Hey, uhm... I have to tell you something..." with her friend nearby, trying to support her, I was like: "Can't, sorry, I have to catch my bus!" and I ran right away from them. I didn't sense the significance of the situation... and honestly, didn't even consider it possible that someone SO physically beautiful could fall for someone like me. Sooo... I basically did the same thing as Aang, totally walking away from someone who clearly wanted me without a care in the world, breaking someone's heart in the process. Still very ashamed of that day 'xD (It's all good tho, I love myself a lot more than I did back then, therapy definitely helped out there lol And, I have a different girlfriend now

This is a Fun episode. Not super heavy, but it’s nice to just have a breather every once in a while. I like the Aang and Katara relationship development (I’m a Kataang supporter in case you couldn’t notice) There’s some funny jokes, and it gives me an interesting fact that I am legally required to tell someone who doesn’t know if I watch this episode with them. (Did you know that was Toph?)

there's a bit more in yin/yang than the interdependence of opposites. If you look closely at the symbol, ☯ you'll see that a bit of yin is present in yang and a bit of yang present in yin. this does symbolize interdependence, but it also means that the seed of yin exists in yang and the seed of yang exists in yin and they can be born from each-other. Yin and yang are also fluid, meaning they always move towards each-other, but they can never become whole on their own. I really like this symbol because it can convey so much with so little.

It was in elementary school, but I knew a girl liked me and I didn't like her back. I remember she had a boyish bowl-cut hairstyle and I didn't like how clingy she acted around me. She was very obvious, and everyone knew she liked me, and in retrospect I feel bad for her. She moved away the next year, so I never saw her again. At the same time I was into a girl who I thought didn't know who I was. It also didn't help that I was a nerd/geek and she was cool/popular. And I had a crush on her up until we graduated high school. But after like 10 years after not seeing her since high school, I saw her again because she was waiting a table at a restaurant I ate at. She actually remembered my name, and she admitted that she actually had a little crush on me and admired that I did my own thing and didn't care what anybody thought of me. I also admitted I had a crush on her, and she said she knew, but neither of us did anything about it lol. We were both married and had children, so nothing happened after that. But it's just funny how crushes work. Not sure why I told this long story, but I guess it's to show that young-love is silly lol.
