The Wapak #8 is a recast. The handle bottom is a dead giveaway. Still a nice pan.

Can you be more specific as to why you think it's a recast? I have a very old #7 that looks very similar.

No it’s not a recast, only recast I have ever seen in the Indian medallion is the #4. That is a legit Indian #8. There are 2 different variations, biggest difference is the number on the top of handle.

@@wisdomstudio The bottom of the handle is tapered to the open area. The real deal has another ridge in that area with no tapper. You should be able to look up real vs fake handle to see what I’m talking about.

@@scaldwellk, there are 2 different variations of the Indian medallion skillet, subtle differences in the handle.
