not really, everyone starts at a ranked with randoms level, and there you don't really play awp a lot. Thus when you move out to lowest tier teams most of players know how to rifle and are going up against more experienced players for the AWPer role, so they slot into riflers

@@MsNeo8 I think its because the way kennyS plays the AWP was/is nearly impossible to replicate. Not only was he mechanically in his own league, but it was during the time where you could be super aggressive with the AWP (which caused it to be nerfed). Hence, it makes sense that all of them took inspiration from dev1ce (who was more passive with the weapon and yet dominant).

it's make sense that m0nesy learn the most from s1mple. They are used to be in the same organisation, and adapted the same system before he joined G2. From my personal opinion, s1mple is better awper because he has more experience dealing with different situation. It's a matter of time that m0nesy becomes the future of csgo. Along with headtr1ck.

If you wanna learn to play AWP Don't watch kennyS or S1mple... They are insane players who do shit and get away with it. If you are new to the game and you really wanna learn, Angles, positioning, timing you go and watch Device and Fallen. They are textbook examples for young CS players. Although S1mple and Kenny's styles look flashy but you definitely can't pull it off specially against T1 opposition
