Nothing is off limits as Roger Johnson is questioned on relegations to League One, taking the captaincy, his relationship with Mick and more.

Fair play to Roger for coming on. More than one side to every story and was clearly scapegoated for a lot of the crap going on at the club at the time

Fair play for stepping up for this interview, there's always two sides to every story.

He was part of the problem along with Jamie O Hara, they was both to blame for our double relegation!!!, Jamie thought in his own mind he was this superstar player with his superstar lifestyle(big house, Ferrari, famous wife) But in reality he downed tools as soon as results didn't go our way. Same as Roger, regardless of what he says about being bombed out with the rest of the players was for good reason so that him and the others didnt poison the other/new players that season in League 1, as soon as these two left we walked league 1 and the rest is history!!! Both Roger and Jamie will go down in history as the darkest times at our club, and both never fulfilled there potential for good reason, they just want professional enough!!!

I think the darkest times were in the 80’s mate. Nearly out of business, no training ground, bottom of the 4th division. I would say that was a darker period in our history.

Fair play to him, can’t say I’m his biggest fan, but I supposed it’s the best way to get your side of events across.

Respect to him for coming on and telling his side. Very honest in some of his opinion's. But i rate him above Wayne Hennessey as he never refused to play.

He makes a great point, we didn't add anywhere near enough quality in the summer after we stayed up. Mick also probably should have gone after that season.

Hmmm! Interesting to hear his take on things. Bully scored a hatful when he got bladdered the night before. We all love Bully.

That was 20 years earlier, different times, different acceptance levels - Remember that there were drinking cultures at clubs like United and Arsenal at that time too! Also - Having a fantastic game and scoring a double brace rather does take a lot of the heat off!

I have to say I disliked this guy very much after what happened...however...I respect how he answered these questions. It was very easy to blame him, but he did speak a lot of sense. Fair play for coming on here and giving your side of things. A dark time for wolves, in the past now. Forgive and forget....

That guy could/should have been the rock to build our club on, but MM didn't play him correctly. His game, as Wycombe, Blues and Cardiff was playing deep and getting the ball away. MM played a high line for the back 4, and he was always having to turn and run back. Felt sorry for him tbh, as we destroyed his career, don't forget he was on the verge of the England team at the time.

We bought the wrong Blues centre-back! We should have gone after Scott Dann!

Maybe Morgan should of signed more than 2 players that summer!

I do agree that our recruitment that summer was terrible but Mick should have gone that summer too! He'd taken us as far as he could and was only interested in survival! By the time he did go it was too late!

He basically just didn't play well in a very poor Wolves team. He don't seem a bad person really so I think Wolves fans just need to forgive and forget, he said he is happy that Wolves are doing well now. Cheers for telling your story Roger.

I am as guilty as anyone for believing the press stories and the rumours and I had a very negative view about Roger until I saw this. To be fair to the guy however he had the balls to come on the show, be honest, and I feel he has redeemed himself somewhat. He admits he didn't play as well as he should have done but to be fair he probably came to the club at the wrong time. The rot had already set in. Fair play Roger. My opinion of you has gone up.

Cant stand him, saying he doesn't know what was wrong with him turning up to work drunk or smelling of beer..... he was an ex captain, hes in the eye of the public, a role model to kids... and hes lied through his teeth, my step dad a blues fan knows the lads he was drinking with and he was smashed, till early hours of the morning.... not really what a professional should do... if I turned to work like that, I'd be sacked.... he was part of the problem! Never lived up to his transfer fee and the wage we paid him... messed up and picked him over Scott dann...

disgraceful treatment of "The Bomb Squad"... so unprofessional, & basically discourteous & disrespectful to fellow professionals & human beings. Shocking.

Fair play for coming on but he was his own downfall. Weather it was a couple of beers or a few beers (as he keeps on saying/changing) he just wasn't good enough. I was there at Wigan away when he actually riled up us Wolves fans by running up and down the sideline as a sub and applauding the Wigan fans with a smile! Not good! In my top ten of worst Wolves signings since 1989! Not the worst though.. Hands up who can remember Frankowski.. lol!
