I look forward to these weekly videos. I find your tips and pointers invaluable! I am new to ByAnnie patterns and I am in love with them. I have collected over a dozen patterns and I have been collecting supplies like zippers, mesh and fold over elastic and of course soft and stable. Before I knew about ByAnnie I had pick up another brand of foam stabilizer on a whim. When I created my piecekeeper I made two and one I used soft and stable and for the other I used what I had picked up. The difference to this novice was extremely noticeable. The soft and stable piece, when quilted, had much more definition to the piece. You could see it and feel it. That sold me and I promptly ordered two more 2 yard packages. I won’t go back to anything else. Thanks for time you take with us each week. I can barely wait until the weekend so I can get in my sewing room!

Thanks so much for your kind words, Kelli, and for sharing your experience with Soft and Stable vs another foam stabilizer. We definitely think it's the best. Glad you agree!

Loved the way the grey on white changed based on black or white soft and stable. I never considered getting black till then. I'm just getting into quilting on my Bernina, rulers and/or using my BSR. #Linda Berrios my sister would love some of these fabric choices. This has been fun even if started late and going back to the start.

It really is interesting, isn't it? Black is great for enhancing darker colors.

Very informative video. Looking forward to the follow up about the zippers, trims etc. Love that you explain the ‘why’ and not just leave it as ‘because’. Thanks for sharing. Oh, by the way I’m going to send you some straws! 😂

Would it be possible for you to include a cutting layout for all of your patterns as you did for Easy Does It? That would be extremely helpful.

Geez...I just bought me a shiny new JUKI 1541s and the pattern for the ultimate 2 travel bag....got the quilted pieces cut and secured the edges. Came upstairs to get my mail which was soft and stable, strapping and the tool to put the strapping in. Went back downstairs and fell in the hall, broke my wrist on my prominent arm! Now I have rods and pins holding me together and all my fun comes to a halt for at least 8 weeks! LIFE SUCKS!

Because right now cash is short and my stash has plenty I have been shopping my own stash. I may not have fabrics that coordinates like some I get at least the outside that I like. My linings and coordination fabric may just be a make do. I generally do not share because I only have two friends that sew and one of those is already a customer and the other only makes quilts and is not interested. Guess that will just keep me from winning.
