Wow that sounds great. I personally think the engine noise from the s2k is perfect so I don't want an exhaust that is going to overpower everything and be stupid loud. This one seems like the perfect way to get a little more tone than the stock exhaust while still keeping nice balance with that amazing f22c intake sound.

I really liked this exhaust on my 06 RSX-S. I paired it with a J's racing header and it sounded great. I imagine the same with the S2000.

Do you have an aftermarket intake? That pull coming at the camera seems like all intake growl. Regardless, thanks for making this and posting it. It really helps narrow down my decision. :)

just got my tanabe, is it just me or does this thing sounds like it has a exhaust leak at idle? is that raspy noise normal?

Never had an issue like that while I had the exhaust. Is yours brand new? I’ve come to understand all the new Tanabe medallion touring exhausts are now manufactured under a new “Revel” brand. Different from the original tanabes which overall had a much cleaner sound and better fitment. I’ve seen people on the S2k forum mention they are unhappy with their new tanabes for this same reason.

I like the sound but I still think the UK mod is best sounding and you get to keep the stock exhaust too..but I like it 👌 Tanabe would definitely be my 2nd choice 😉

Do you have a hfc or stock cat? I’ve heard that makes a difference aswell

Tonyw2394 I just have a stock cat but I have seen from many other that they love to pair the exhaust with an hfc.

Cant hear it at all on the drive bus because you stop accelerating when you get up to the camera man...why? Why why? Does not compute.

Raymond C Honestly the drone with this exhaust is very minimal. Might get some drone going up a steep highway but if it’s just straight then there really isn’t much. Still more than stock but barely.
