Not sure who of you got the S21 ultra but I have had the exynos version for about 4 days now and the device heats up like crazy when using certain apps and they aren't even intense apps. In fact, just typing this the device is unusually hot in my hands

Gamers can just buy ROG Phone and hopefully Genshin Impact developers can improve the game a bit in terms of optimisation. A14 Bionic is quite a bit more powerful than s888 right? Even that doesn't manage anywhere close to 60fps after 5 mins of ganeplay.

Exnynos for everyday usage Snapdragon for gaming and performance For me I'm ok with the exynos as I already have a PC and PS4 for gaming. In New Zealand it's hard to find snapdragon models , so I'm ordering me a S21 ultra 512gb 16ram with Exynos 2100 👍

I have the S21+ with Exynos because i'm living in France . I bought this one because i wanted to play Genshin impact. My previous phone Mate20 Pro Huawei was doing great already in performance mode but the Samsung one have some lag and random frames drop or lag randomly lol i'm confused but great device overalll.

14 gpu core of mali G 78 in Exynos 2100 is equal to snapdragon 865+ gpu . It doesn't make sense why would it do so well in games like call of duty but do badly in this game? This is all about optimization and exynos chipset is not yet optimized for this game

Good job Golden Reviewer, more test between the two SOCs will be a great added value. So far, GPU is the only weakness for Exynos, compared to last year Samsung was able to improve CPU performance and battery consumption (so 2 out of 3). I don't use my mobile just for gaming so I think the Exynos is good enough for me this time around, the SD 888 is not worth the hassle. By the way Exynos is a new chip so its performance on Genshin might improve in the near future..

Ive had s7 edge for about 4 years and want to upgrade . According to me both performing almost same SD version is lil bit fast overall is same performance as I see both were fluctuating at 35 to 40fps but at the end exynos struggled to maintain fps it was lower than 30fps

From battery and temperature Samsung is better as he said, the chipset of Qualcomm and exynos are limited to use less battery and mantein the thermal for long times of gaming, against xiaomi which use more battery and make it uncomfortable to use it after a time but gives some extra fps

All throughout the swimming part (6:20) exynos was constantly at the same level if not better. The problem with exynos chipset is that it isnt reliable yet. When they will partner up with AMD, exynos will be a better all around chipset

In real life, there's impossible to see differences if not using some software to see diagrams. SD overheated in stress test in one video. So constant playing with graphic demanding game will heat up SD888 a lot in long period, that's not good.
