Prague under the snow is magnificent. The Mala Strana district covered in snow, a fairy tale! To warm up, mulled wine with cinnamon and almost no tourists. A personal memory of more than 20 years!

Now that sounds like something Lisa will enjoy 😄 Prague with snow must be a whole different experience!

I was so looking forward to this video. Love to see Prague again we have been there several times it’s a stunning City. I am very glad that you, like us, liked Melník it’s not so crowded as Prague and gives you the opportunity to take a strol and enjoy the beautiful spots. Aspecially at that spot where the two rivers come togheter with a glass of wine and a beautiful Sunset 😜 👋

Thanks Rita! And thank you for the recommendation for Melnik! We wish the weather was better and we had more time there. Prague is an amazing city, and its popularity is completely unsurprising. We don't really do justice to a location with our 'city' videos as they're a bit harder to film and not be a '10 things to see'. Melnik is really more our vibe...

Prague reminds me a bit of Bruges in Belgium in that every building is stunning. Thanks Lisa for being so vivacious and positive all of the time. Its very refreshing. We all need to smile more, forget the fires, the floods, the plagues of locusts (ok, now I'm getting carried away). The streets and buildings (architecture) reminds me a lot of Munich. Vienna is another city that takes your breath away, everything is so spectacular. I love continental Europe, the history, the culture, the astronomical clocks. There is a clock similar to that in Marienplatz in Munich where every hour a little mechanical man comes out and rings the bell. Andre - you need to bring her to a country where Ice Cream is illegal, I'm sure you can find one. Lets see how cheerful she is then ! Another cracking video guys, I still envy you so much, safe travels and keep them coming.

Hi Ronan! Thanks for the nice comment as always! We always want to 'compare' every city to Vienna 😋now that is a magnificent city with regard to style and architecture! We really would have like to spend more time in Prague, it has a nice feel to it. Although parts of the old town is very busy there's a lot more to see and do. Lisa is very positive on camera - as long as there is a chance of ice-cream. Which is almost ALWAYS. 😂😂So it works out perfectly!

I know you don't do city tours like many others, but the Jewish part of Prague and especially its old cemetery is really worth a visit. It looks different from the rest of the city and is close to the old square. The Dracula restaurant in Melnik is actually a Serbian fast food restaurant. For an even better small gem of CZ, go to Češky Krumlov in the south. It's the country's best preserved medieval town.

At Dracula we saw Pljeskavica on the menu and we wondered.. Lisa was very tempted. 😋Then friends of ours told us they had a drink there after just being in Serbia and they met the owner. Next time we'll have to stop there as well! We'll definitely visit Prague again (but not in peak summer season), the Jewish part was actually on our list to see. Thanks for the suggestion of Češky Krumlov - also on our list already ❤

Hi guys. We're a couple of videos behind! This was lovely. We're with you, a couple of days would be lovely in Prague and Melnik looks stunning too. Great film, love the 'reality' of your filming with the 360 (which definitely came into its own in the beautiful square). Looking forward to the next one..... Oh and we were saying you two are seasoned travellers and back packers so you ust have pretty solid anti-pick-pocket measures in place in those busy locations. Oh and your microphones are great, we must investigate....... K & N x
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
🤣 We're not only seasoned travellers but we're South African too so we're pretty aware of our surroundings. We often remark about the many nonchalant Europeans in places like this. PS: DM if you want more info on the mic's... We actually wanted to mention to you guys that you should really consider getting mic's. For so long we didn't want to spend the money and now that we have them we really see the difference it makes and think it's well worth the investment and we should have just got them from the start! 😉

@WeWillNomad ha ha yes, we learned VERY quickly about personal security when we visited Cape Town - a kindly cab driver stopped and told us not to walk in the area we were in on our first day (we bloomin loved pur trip there though). Will get in touch about mics. Thank you guys 🙏

When you said you don't have CZK (cash): Did you ask if they accept euro (cash)? In some places they do.
@WeWillNomad Жыл бұрын
We definitely have asked in places but it can actually be illegal to accept foreign currency in some countries.
