We are enjoying our new life here in Prampram compared to the States. We only have three things here that are sometimes problematic, they are water, electricity and the roads!! The electricity is not a major issue because we have solar power. As they say, "We are living our best lives here". Our worse days here are better than the best days in the States.

Oh my word that kind of shopping cost is unheard of in the west; I can definitely do just fine in Ghana. If those red bell peppers are that high, I would buy one and grow my own with the seeds. That can be accomplished easily in a large pot on your beautiful balcony too. Try it guys, will be be fun to watch them grow. 😄 Ghana is listed as one of the most affordable countries in Africa. I will keep your space in mind for my next trip to the motherland but have to now focus on the care of my mom. Thank you for the information.

So the green peppers are affordable, but the red and yellow are not! Cant wait to meet you when you come.

To be honest! I like this family so so much, their thinking mindset is top notch. I knew they will succeed because I have been following them since day one, when they made their intention to move to GHANA known. I plan to pay them a visit one day.

Thank you for following. While it may seem like a no brainer to go to the market, there are still some things to be aware of. We got a great deal on a whole chicken, but the market meat is a little tougher than the meat we are accustomed to. Now I’m sure the chicken meat we ate back in the states is full of steroids, antibiotics and hormones … but it will be a process to transition our taste buds.

This is probably only the second time in the thousands of KZbin videos I have watched in maybe 15 years that I will comment on. THIS VIDEO WAS FANTASTIC, REALALISTIC, AND INFORMATIONALLY SOUND! It was presented in a very coherent manner that I was able to follow logically, and it had the substance necessary to help me make a crucial decision. I will be joining your group! Keep up the good work! God bless!😊❤👍

Yes it does but many American expats are coming with pension and or social security money. For younger people, we are experimenting with using assets to convert into revenue streams. For example, a project that requires a $5,000USD investment, but yields $2,500 - $5,000 USD each year,

Thank you for your video. How much do you charge for a stay @ your Air b n B for 30 days? ....Is there ever a time there may not be sufficient water for bathing in 30 days? I would imagine you store water in a large container for an emergency. Health: I saw one a video awhile ago the private American Health coverage Co. Aetna, offers health coverage in a Health facility in Accra ( I think it's in Accra) Have you heard?

When diasporas only choose the a capital City of Accra, then things will be expensive for them. When you choose other city or Regional capital then things will be affordable and they will enjoy their trip. They only choose Accra as their final destination meanwhile, they can buy same thing in Accra for lest than half or one third the price in Accra fir that same thing.

I'm a Ghanaian , I jave lived in Ghana for 45 years and I can tell you when you say Ghana you are really not giving the right perspective why? Becouse Ghana has Sisxteen Regions and in all the regions the most expensive city is Accra and Tema then Takoradi . Aside the three Ghana is not that expensive it depends of where you are living. The biggest City in Ghana is Kumasi and everything there expecially food stuffs are very cheap

Let us know how the chicken tastes. You noted on one of your comments that the meat in the market was hard. That chicken is hard too as they’re grass fed and chicken feed has no antibiotic so taste is different. Also we don’t slaughter calf’s but cows and chicken too is more mature. Anything that is regarded as foreign especially western will cost more including junk food plus snacks- and could cost even more than in the USA 🇺🇸.Otherwise, nice discussion. Thanks

Hello. I should have said the meat was a different texture, which it was. It's just a little adjustment to get used to. Everything is different, and most times for the better. The Coke here has less additives and the bread tastes better. So we just has to learn how to cook the meats.
