Today ( May 16th 2020) I am at New York Safety Track (NYST) attending an event by S2kTakeover
This is a High-Performance Driver Education event that is based around the Honda S2000 community. There was a good mix of other makes and models at this event as well. Honda S2000 AP1 AP2 Nissan R35 GTR, Porshe GT3 , Audi R8, Civic Type R, Civic Ek4, GT4 Corvette C7 BMW M2

Hey Dude! Can a complete novice take their beater car to this track and have fun for a day? Or are there any limitations on cars/experience you need to be here?

Yes of course you can take any car to the track. Any level of experience is fine just depends on the event organizations have to offer.
