Girl you are meant to break barriers. You said because you don’t look like a typical mariachi/banda people won’t see your talent but don’t limit yourself. That’s only your mind trying to stop you from accomplishing great things. Wow, I’m bawling. I went through a similar experience and lost my mom while we weren’t on good terms. The grief is so heavy and unfortunately, I don’t have people to relate to on it. This made me so sad but also brought me so much comfort that I’m not alone. Thank you Jenicka for having Miriam. There are people that needed it.

Love you Miriam I'm so proud of you thank you Janicka for giving Miriam this opportunity @Miriam I understand the pain of losing your mom twice I went through the same thing the last memory of my mom and me was we got into an argument over my now ex husband I left mad to my ex husband moms house and a few days later I called home to say sorry to my mom and my dad told me my mom was in Bakersfield I found that strange because my dad and mom never went anywhere alone in the 28 years of marriage so I told my ex husband let go to dads moms in Bakersfield without dad once there I called to talk to my mom but couldn't reach her a few days later we got a call that my mom passed away broke my heart and to this day Mariam keep striving may God continue to guide and bless you much love from Pennsylvania 🌹

When my grandfather died at Emmanuel hospital, the doctor and nurses gave us time with him. They didn't rush us at all. They even took us down to the chapel to pick out a blanket for him.

My mom also passed in the hospital but I wasn’t there the day she passed. I was with her every day while she was sick in there and the day I couldn’t be there she passed. In a way I see it as if my mom didn’t want me or her grandkids to see her passed. My kids were her favorite of her grandkids.

This one made me cry sm reminiscing on the good times me n my mom had which wasn’t many , we never had a good relationship since age 10 and it got worse over the years , she physically, emotionally, mentally abused me, the things she would say to me were horrible she’d call me a pendeja she hated me so much and I was her second daughter but my sister never went thru what me and my lil cousin/sister did , I remember one time she threw her hot coffee at my face because I told her I wouldn’t respect her if she treated me like shit . It triggered her and there goes her burning hot coffee in my face along with “ eres pendeja “ judged me sm when I became a teen mom & obviously didn’t know how to take care of a baby and instead of teaching me she talked shit ab me , laughed at me , my whole family would yell “ shut that baby up , wtf are u doing to her etc “ like ??? I’m trying at age 10 she would get jealous that I preferred my dad and would try to put negative thoughts out there , “ your dad only wants to do stuff to you “. I get it she went thru SA from her own family but that didn’t mean she had to try to traumatize me like that

Miriam, you should file a complaint against those nurses bcuz it IS their kid to be empathetic and kind especially when someone is dying so they don’t continue to treat families like that.
