S3 Ep 4 Terrific Thargomindah!! [What to see and do]

There is so much that is so good about Thargo (Thargomindah)... the people, the places and the things to do! In this episode we have a look around town, talk to some locals, and visit the Thargomindah Station (ranch) where Tait takes us on a drive around a small section of their 125,000 acre property. It's a fantastic place and it was our favourite part of our outback Queensland road trip. Enjoy, and get out there and see it for yourself!

Just found you channel . You did a fine job of showing Thargo and local areas . You also proved , that you don't need a 4x4 . But to be honest , a Bull Bar is really a must . I wish you and you wife all the best with your channel . Slow and steady , not running around like a Blue Assed Fly . Every one racers through areas and you really don't see anything . Thanks so much and welcome. You are so right. I think when it comes to the bull bar, our area of Australia (rural NSW) has the highest incidence of collisions with wildlife so we are well accustomed to slow and steady and keeping our eyes peeled, particularly at certain times of the day. Nevertheless, we always limit the hours we would do in a day and the time of day we drive. We do plan (hope) to get a 4x4 to go further afield one day when the economy settles down and we plan a slower and steadier trip out that way through your town and Birdsville into SA. Fantastic video, I was there with the wife 12 months ago. I cannot speak highly enough of the town the people in it and particularly the owners of the Oasis motel, sad news about the Foodworks from memory the owners of the motel had that. Safe travels

Friends of mine owned the old bush nursing hospital for a long time they ran 2 small businesses from there one was a building company and the other was manufacturing furniture from recycled materials and sold around the country that was called bullo built great people
