I really like the maps you provide. It definitely helps visualize where you're at and the routes you take.

Watching on the big screen this sweltering August afternoon from Lake Martin, Alabama. While Debbie is hammering the Gulf Coast of Florida. Y'all are living many of my memories of the Bahamas...and some dreams I'll never see (apologies to Molly Hatchet). Driving on the wrong side of the road (and those roundabouts!) was always a hoot for Linda and me on our first trips to the islands. And we survived! Really regret you had to bypass the Abacos but I truly understand how Mother Nature can intervene in the sailing and cruising world. Thanks for such a great vicarious re-adventure for me.

Mid August and I bet you guys either are in New York , or maybe back home by now. What an incredible trip you two were on, I hope any frustrations off cam didn't hurt the marriage, because I know from experience a massive trip like that can be taxing! Cheers to you!🎉 Thank you for posting such a well edited video series.

Thank you Rod! We crossed our wake June 1st in Ludington! You are not wrong about the stress on marriages. Luckily, Bob and I were great friends for YEARS before we started dating, so I think that has always helped us. We did learn that being on a boat for such a long time, you have to constantly communicate so we could stay ahead of trouble. We are Gold Loopers, and still happily married :)

You mentioned May in your time note,I assume by this you are safe from Debbie. All the karst formations were beautiful! As an old geologist you would have had to pry me off from all the rocks I see!Be safe and I really enjoy your videos😊😊

2 track. Haven't heard that in a while and it was someone from Michigan I heard it from! Not what we call it in the south, but when you hear it, you know exactly what they're talking about.

Thank you! It was incredible to travel by and see all the training fields with tanks and everything on the shore. Luckily, they weren't doing any drills that day. We have heard stories of others waiting for live fire to be done. Ollie would have gone nuts! :)

Thank you so much! It was incredible to see. I had only been to very populated (touristy) caves before, it was crazy to have the caves to ourselves! Enjoy this last leg of your loop! Adjusting back to "normal" has been harder than we thought! :)

Hi guys. We are Gord & Shelli and we met you in Ludington a few weeks ago. We are starting to think about what insurance company we will be using for the loop. Is there anyone you can recommend? This can be a private massage but I do not know how to start one

Hello guys! We were with intuit, they were ok, it was kind of difficult during our incident, but in the end it all worked out. The rules, and coverages within the industry has been changing a lot, so it may be smart to try and find a local agent that you trust or have worked with before who can help in the event you really need it.
