They are definitely over for this year now though. :(

Thanks Scott for great videos. We always look forward to them. This lovely cruise reminded us of our visit 7 years ago to Alexandria Bay, Clayton, walking across the 1000 Islands Bridge and to Wellesley island. Wonderful memories of a wonderful part of the world. Best wishes from Australia!!!

So glad you were able to experience our wonderful River firsthand! I really enjoy seeing videos from your part f the world although I’ve never experienced it. Stu at Dangar Marine is one of my favorites. If you ever make your way back here let me know and I’ll take you out on The River. Thanks for watching.

What's the story with the old wooden tour boat? Looks like an Uncle Sam's boat of the 50's. Lots of these boats were retired when the Coast Guard ordered that they needed to be diesel powered.

That boat is still owned by the family that used it on the river for various tasks from their marina since 1945. Here is a link to the story of the boat. tilife.org/BackIssues/Archive/tabid/393/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/958/ldquoThatrsquos-Herrdquo-Storyhellip.html

@@glassgoat9601 thank you, love these old boats. Very common design used by tour boat companies long ago.

I’m sure I missed an episode or two along the journey, what does the number 55 on the dash represent?
@glassgoat96012 жыл бұрын
It is the year of the boat. I found those old cast numbers somewhere years ago and it seemed like they would look cool on the dash.

@@glassgoat9601 Brings to mind Tom Wait's wonderful "Ol' 55" -- could be the boat's theme song 🙂

@@tommegan6500 just listened to it, I'll have to add that one to my playlist. Thanks!
