I had completely forgotten about that Sock Slider, but truth be told I've been diagnosed with multiple-sclerosis since this episode first aired, and now that I've spent the past decade or so slowly getting worse nerve damage and mobility, most of it unknowingly, that actually doesn't look too bad.

It's 8 AM I just watched this episode as the closing scene with the NYC gay choir, four humans dressed as T-Rex while John Oliver slips into a Bat mobile bed on his desk. I'm in stitches from laughing so hard at how this show layers joke after joke, both verbal and physical. And the show was about stupid Watergate and the Donald, two topics which are not funny in the least yet they get the laughs. The ending had me laughing for a few minutes. Thanks.

Came in for this. It was a definite blind spot for me, I was laughing with everyone else at ads like this until I realized oh, these products are for people who actually do need them because they’re less abled, but they can’t market them that way. I would never have seen that with this ad until my dad had ALS. But yeah, love the show, but this might have just been a blindspot.

Just fyi, according to Wikipedia, the daughter seems to have had little to no say in the naming of the rabbit. (There's also a comment from the Orange Terror that's just as heartwarming as one might expect.) Their care of it is also questionable. "Pence texted Bundo's owner to ask how much the rabbit cost, and the owner replied, "Make me an offer."[11] In Mario Puzo's novel The Godfather and the 1972 film of the same name, Marlon Brando's Don Vito Corleone says, "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse."[4] Pence's friend, a Brando fan, noticed the similarity between the seller and Corleone, and suggested naming the rabbit Marlon Brando.[4][12] Pence finally decided to name him Marlon Bundo. - Marlon Bundo page

nah. we usually get the UK pieces a few weeks later. the one about the recent election didn't air here until after the election had happened. oh yeah, and because of hbo's deal with sky to air the series in this country, we don't get uploads of new full episodes, and even just the main segments don't go up until way later. the most recent one we have on UK youtube is the one about our election, which is from almost three months ago. and yet these are uploaded with no issues? idk

07:45 - If the witch hunts you’re talking about are the American witch hunts, they were in the 17th century (since the pilgrims didn’t even get to Plymouth Rock until 1620), not the 16th century (though there witch hunts in *Europe* in the that century).
