I remember some interview with Scott where he explained that the name came from the old STP merch and he just loved the logo. He said anyone can go buy one of those they're everywhere. So I did. I bought it so one Day I could hit a show and perhaps have them sign it but after wearing it as my party had for like 5 years it was no longer in autograph condition. Oddly enough Our Lady Peace lined up to me at a bar, I explained the hat, and their guitarist said "We'll sign it." Cool guys as well. I still have that hat in the closet.
