It is a VMP Odin super charger basically. I have an Odin and the IAT temps drop when doing pulls. Triple pass dual fan heat exchanger with the Bosch hi flow pump.

I run Castrol edge 5w50 in my GEN 3 Coyote with a VMP ODIN. I just turned 300 hours of service on my ODIN and have zero oil consumption. I highly recommend the Castrol to protect the bearings & crankshaft.

I've been running Amsoil for years.....just turned 200k on my ecoboost Fusion still on the original engine and trans.... gonna stick with them. 184k on my 6.0 and 31k on my heavily tracked GT350....nothing beats Amsoil

@CruisinCaptures now that it's Supercharged, 5w50 Amsoil per Roush's recommendation. Before it was Supercharged, I had Amsoil 5w30 in it

Install a FI chiller on this car and watch the magic happen. I have it on a Gen 3 Roush and it’s insane how it keeps my IAT2 temps low 80’s in 106 degree Houston heat.

You'll want the oil cooler even if you're staying NA....it's insane hot hot they get as quickly as they do

It looks like you will be able to fit an aftermarket CAI on this blower for more whine. I would like to see side by side with whipple though. I'm possibly buying a DH not sure which route to go.

That's the only thing that sucks about most blowers.. Losing your strut tower Brace and handling that comes with it and the Cowl K brace too in some cases. Especially for us Performance Pack guys who paid for the better handling, among other things.. But this is a bad ass car for sure either way..

Great content brother keep up the good work! I have a 24 GT and am on the fence between Whipple or Roush. Leaning a bit more towards Roush i think. Roush my tuner said will take about 30 days to receive but the whipple about 60 days. What do you think i should go with? Wait a bit longer for the whipple or go with roush which i like overall design of a bit better.

They are both great. I agree that the Roush does look better esthetically and it definitely sounds better. The whipple is alittle more efficient designed however. If your are not chasing world records, I'd go Roush. If your are chasing world records I'd go twin turbo. Hope that clears it up🤣

@xxdee1nonlyxx it's a 5.0. Not really a problematic engine. I wouldn't really be worried about warranty. I wouldn't modify it at all if you're worried about warranty. I've seen plenty of warranty claims get denied even though it was a dealer installed whipple. You're at the complete mercy of the dealership/technician

I have better iat temps with my 2650 Roush on my 2021 with the heat soak problem after adding a stage 2 FI Interchiller

Well yea, that's a significant change to the stock system that comes in yhe kit. This was just to get a baseline before I do any changes. Fortunately for me, it's Florida so it's always hot haha

needs a mishimoto radiator, and some better fans! oil cooler, and a cooler thermostat and it’ll EAT!

Some of that high coolant temp could be the lack of a upper radiator shroud so all the air doesn't get forced through the radiator.

Im in colorado i have......... u have a gtd comin? Did i hear that right? Anyway... a gt500. Got the venom1000 package on it. IAT 2⁰ over ambient. Beat on it all night. It loves it.

Plenty of people. Give people options, let them make the choice. I am a fan of the valet mode. Makes it really convenient to drop the car off at the dealership and know they won't be able to joy ride in it even if they try

Ford cheaps out on anything other than a performance pack or DH. S550 owners have had to deal with this since 2015. Farley should be embarrassed. The stock (base GT) oil coolers is integrated with the radiator in the S550 and I'm assuming that didn't change for 2024.

There is no engine oil cooling at all. Nothing is integrated. I've looked all over the thing in great detail when we had it apart for the Roush install

@@THEDriverMod_ Well, I stand corrected. That's a stupid move from Ford considering the price of the GT. I know my Mach 1 has a separate air engine oil, trans and diff cooler.
