Ik this is old but just for reference firefighters wouldn’t have long enough hoses to go up that high so they’d take a 2 1/2 and hook it up to a Standpipe to fight a high rise, also secondary Air bottles because you’re using x2 the Oxygen Love the content tho keep it up man🔥🤙🏽

Chief officer should take command from the lobby. Not outside for a high rise fire. Crews set up 2 floors below the fire floor. Also its too bad you cant call like a 2nd alarm and have more people and trucks respond out. That be really cool or maybe if 2-3 cops transcend and can man an extra rig or 2.

I just want to give you some tips on how to make fire scenes a little more realistic. Tip One: You should do a 360 (or the person sitting in the officers seat of the first arriving unit) (size up) of the fire, which of course is hard to do on a high rise, but you could drive around the base of the building and get a view of the fire from all sides, then report to incident command, which would be you if you are the highest-ranking individual there. Tip Two: When you send people in, you should send like only 4-5 people in at a time depending on how many people you have, because some people will have to switch out at some points in time, and a rehab station should be set up for those who come out of the building. When someone requests rehab, the whole battalion goes along, and then a new battalion enters the building. Of course, this is difficult in a highrise as well because of how long it takes to get to the top. But again, these are just ideas that you could implement and/or do more of on scenes. But aside from that, amazing job on the videos, I love em. You are very entertaining to watch :).

Due to membership restraints and server slot allowance, we don't have a huge crew, and thus, can't do two teams like that. If we did, we'd be sending two or three people into a high rise like this and that's pretty dangerous. Also, we always do a 360, but I cut it out of this video due to it being very long and this was already a long video. ^_~ I appreciate the advice, we just have to play with what our technology allows.

Actually if your the chief of a full time department you are not in charge of volunteering firefighters unless they show up to your calls but any other Times they have a Chief and their chief is in charge if you show up to their call. Volunteers and full time are the same except full time gets paid

maybe there should be skin for glennanne for when hes in scene command in situations likethis so hes only in his turn out coat and helemt cause being in that bunker gear when he doesnt need to be is not exactly good as well as keeping the coat and helemet but not the turnout pants will allow him be rapidly recognised as the cheif like normal city cheifs would in this kind of situation

Having a white helmet is what gets him rapidly recognized as a Chief. He's wearing proper PPE for the type of call he's on. What happens if he needs to enter a hazardous situation? "Hold on, guys! I gotta go put on my pants!" lol!!
